Keto Month 1 (Day 38) (82/365 Days 2026 Keto)

Grrr, up three pounds from yesterday. Sill under the “Morbid Obese” so still making progress. What was exciting was that my waist was at 52 inches (132.1 cm) I'm pretty sure that's the lowest waistline that I've recorded on here.

In Mom's Laundry room there is a rack of stuff that blocked off the breaker panel and as the plumber was scheduled to come out this morning we had to get the stuff off of the rack to move that rack so he could turn off the breaker to the water well. Right after we moved everything off of the rack and she cleaned the laundry room the plumber called and said that he had a family emergency and will try to come out tomorrow.

While Mom was checking on her chickens and opening the door for them to go out into their run I stepped out into the yard. I couldn't help but stop and just smell the air. It was so much more beautiful out here as opposed to living next to the high school with it's HVAC system constantly DDDDRRRROOOONNNNIIIINNNNGGGG on. Along with smelling and hearing all of the traffic going around town. But out here it's just the peace of the wind with the smell of the grass and trees growing.

I really wasn't sure on how to proceed on the meal plan for the week as a lot has changed moving back in with Mom. She said that Step-Dad said that I shouldn't buy any groceries as I have plenty already in the garage freezer. Mom also really wasn't a fan of me putting meat in the fridge for an entire week. She did suggest that I cook the pork steaks and chicken that I already had thawed out from last Tuesday to put those in the lunchboxes for work. And that idea kind of evolved into me keeping most of the meat in the freezer and each night when I get home I'll take a piece of meat out of the freezer to cook in the morning before work and taking that in for lunch. If I'm doing my math right it looks like a couple of weeks of carnivore. It's a great simple idea. Kind of wish I had thought of it before.

After doing inventory of the food I baked the Pork loin that I had in the fridge from last week. It was still before the “Use By date” not even considering the fact that it had been frozen. I also cooked the pork steaks and chicken and put those in lunchboxes for the next couple of days. I had to cut the pork steaks in half to get them to fit into the lunchboxes, but the chicken was pretty close to a perfect fit. I've never reheated these in the microwave before, but I'm sure that they'll be fine.

I think I startled Mom when I offered to grill a burger patty for her. I decided to grill burger patties for dinner. It's awkward to cook and eat by myself and I have plenty in the freezer.

Kind of messed up on my Quicken budgeting program (not sponsored). I was trying to delete all of the old bills but I got frustrated with the whole thing so I deleted all of the bills and transfers just to start it all over again. But I forgot to write down the bills and transfers before deleting all of them so now I'm trying to remember all of the reminders that are supposed to be in the program. I'm not in a bad way so anything that comes up should be covered, but I'm sure that I've forgotten some things which would be annoying. What would be really annoying is if anything came up that caused an overdraft or make me transfer from savings too often causing fees as I've, so far, avoided paying any overdraft or transfer fees to the bank and I would really like to keep it that way.
