Really trying to think of something to say. Pretty standard boring day.

Scale was up a bit, but again, just a tenth of a pound, not much to get bothered about.

When I was cooking breakfast Mom told me that she was going to have dinner at a Church Meeting so I'd be on my own for dinner.

Baked bratwursts for lunch. They were a bit overcooked again.

Ran Self Checkout for a couple of hours and was Supervisor the rest of the day.

It was pretty active today, but looking back it was strange that it wasn't more busy as it was the last Monday of the month.

When I got home I saw something that made me feel a bit sad as there was a flat of Mom's eggs laying on the floor all shattered. Mom was still at church so I wasn't sure how they ended up on the floor. But that was about a dozen eggs that were just shattered on the floor. She has over a dozen chickens so there's no shortage of eggs coming in, but it was still sad seeing them shattered on the floor as I didn't know how they ended up there I didn't know if she had knocked them over and stormed out to her meeting. Not to get too open with her issues, but she has been really stressed lately. I just imagined her getting her stuff together to go to her meeting, accidentally knocking the eggs to the floor and storming out because she was upset that she broke her eggs. But when she got home she said that one of her dogs has before reached up and pulled the flat of eggs off of the counter before. I cleaned up the eggs; not sure how the new flooring would react to the eggs sitting there for who knows how long. They were really quite foul smelling. Mom said that they weren't on the floor when she left at around 5 and I got home about 8:30. Interesting that the dogs didn't eat all of the eggs. Maybe they had their fill, maybe they could smell that they had gone bad.

Had Ham Steak for dinner.

Sneaked out of the room to get a drink as the salty ham made me thirst later in the evening. I was going to drink some of the cans of the Kroger seltzer that I still have, But the acoustics of Mom's house is quite strong. When I open those cans they sound as loud as a gunshot. I decided to get some bottles of the Member's Mark sparking water instead as to not bother Mom. I'm sure she'd insist that she wasn't bothered. But still not going to try to test her patience too much.
