But no, no luck there. The sound it made is the sound it makes when the water is used up, but the tank is still full of water and the little stream of fluid that comes out is this nasty looking black fluid. Not coffee black, but darker. I'm guessing that there's a clog in the system somewhere. I'm more than a little annoyed by the coffee pot dying. The last coffee pot lasted like 10 years, and this one couldn't even last 10 months. I did think about getting back to the “Decaffeination” blog. But I did just buy two rather large cans of coffee and a new pot will just be about $25 (not sponsored) Spent a lot of time at the computer today, but it w...

Weight: 323.0 lbs ( 146.5 kg) BMI: 41.5 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Smoked Sausages Dinner: Hormel Pork Loin Lemon Garlic Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sober Year 1 (Day 371) Keto Day 1 Spent quite a bit of the morning updating the weigh in Spreadsheets for 2026. That was a really good weight this morning. Bit of a frustration with the waist, but still down 3.5 inches (2.5 cm) for the year. As Christmas Day is on Thursday this year I'm getting paid on Wednesday so I did the grocery shopping yesterday so the check will clear tomorrow. So I usually do the grocery shopping while Roommate is at his weekly medical appointment, but as I already did my grocery shopping yesterday I just came home and waited for him to call. I was going to do laundry this afternoon so I was going to gather up my laundry while Roommate was at his appointment, but I got distracted by a “50 Facts about K...

Weight: 323.2 lbs ( 147.4 kg) BMI: 41.5 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Baked Chicken   Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sober Month 11 (Day 334) Great number on the scale this morning. Especially since I had Chicken Alfredo for lunch the entire week last week. And the scale gave me the same number three times in a row, so it wasn't glitching. I was debating on whether to or not to try to go back to the AI to try to get it to do the financial projection again. But I looked over the code...none of the bills listed in the code that it generated were the bills that I had told it. I had listed the various bills I expect during the year four times over the last three weeks and it eventually just forgets the bills that I have in the projection and just makes up new bills. I figured that I was just trying to build a more flexible version of the Quicken program that I already have on my computer. (Not spo...

Heck, it's the lowest weight of the 2020's decade if I'm looking at my numbers right. And this time over 2024 and 2023 I was gaining considerably amounts of weight. Kind of blows my theory that the reason that I was gaining weight this time of year my body was getting ready for winter. I know that humans don't hibernate, but I would have assumed that we do have some of feature that would add some insulation in the winter. But no I was just eating and drinking too much in the previous years. (definitely drinking too much) It was exciting to do the grocery shopping as the total came to $92 when I usually budget for $150. It'...
