The scale is teasing me. It just wants me to think that I was starting to make progress.
I was scheduled to work 10:30am to 8pm today. I worked the longer day because I was scheduled to do some of the yearly re-certification training. But running the desk a lot the last week or two I had a lot of standing around time so I was able to finish the training lessons that I was supposed to have been doing today all of last week.
Today was a real run around. I was scheduled to do the training for an hour and a half, but since I had already finished I just went ahead and did the carryout thing that was scheduled to do the rest of the day. But the lady who was working in a lot of different places today had called in sick. I asked the Customer Service Manager if she had given her a hard time for calling in “sick” on “Super Sick Monday” (The Monday after Super Bowl Sunday) So instead of just being carryout all day I was carryout, cashier, customer service desk, and supervisor.
I finished off the Bell Pepper Soup that I had made for lunch this week. Tomorrow I'm planning on making Keto Goulash as that's the only thing that I could think of to make with the shredded cabbage that I had left over from the Cheeseburger Helper that I made the other night. Last week Mom gave me a couple jars of homemade chili that she didn't like. I didn't mind the chili with the cheese I put into it. It would have been a bit better with some sour cream. So I asked her if she had any more jars of chili to share. I'll have the goulash this week and chili next week.
I had to laugh as my sister filed my taxes yesterday she asked me if I had any overtime. Off the top of my head I didn't think I had much. However today I received a letter from my stores parent company showing that I had $7 that I could have claimed in the taxes.
When I got home I grilled some burger patties. And played some more Fallout New Vegas. It took a bit to get it playing again. I had rushed this post because I had played a bit too long.
