Had a bit of a hard time waking up this morning as last night I got distracted by reading previous pages of the blog as I'm keeping these all in this one document on my computer. Debating the wisdom of that, but meh. When I had the coffee this morning I went ahead and threw away the last of the Apple Cider Vinegar. It was the kind that has the “mother” in it. Again happiness is not a number on the scale, but I'd be lying if I said that I wouldn't have been in quite the mood that I was in yesterday morning if I had the numbers I had today. Not sure if it's the lighting in the Men's restroom at work but the last couple of days when I get to work I still have to pee a lot. And the pee looks quite dark in the urinal. Dark pee is a sign of dehydration. But, as usual, I had just finished off a pot of coffee. I think that I've heard that coffee dehydrates you. Probably going to be spending all day thinking about the things I wanted to have mentioned. For instance I wanted to mention that I started off 2023 sober. Kind of helps that the first was a Sunday and I have about five whole dollars to my name. Once again I wake up with a ton of hope and optimism, and then I go to work and it feels like a giant gut punch. We only had one person call in, so far at my lunch break, but that shift was covered by someone who was asking for more hours anyway. But it's kind of bad when you can feel your emotions deflating as you walk into a building. Got tired of pork steak every night so I baked up some of the chicken that I had in the freezer. Unfortunately it was the last of the chicken in the freezer. But tomorrow is Tuesday ...
