Kind of a hard time getting up and going. It was nice to be down almost a pound and a half from last week. It had been a frustrating trend for a while each week I've been down for each week, but the weight had been up from the Saturday's post. But this week I'm down for the week and also for the day. I am grateful that today was another slow and smooth day at work. When I got there I was told that the Customer Service Manager was wanting me to update the closing reports for the new year. It really isn't hard to do (but it did take all day to do) All that needed to be done was rename each file, change the dates inside the file, and clear the da

It is somewhere inside of the Samsung Health app, but I can't seem to find it organically during the day. Last nights (12-8-23) session wasn't as effective as the previous night's (12-7-23) session. When the notification came up it had a collection of things to choose from and it said that the one I did previously was the “Seven Days of Relaxation” But when I choose that one it started saying the same thing it said the previous time. So I chose a different button on the front of that app. I'm thinking that is the next lesson on the “Seven Days of Relaxation” as it was labeled as something it said that was a Dutch term that (mo

I had set my alarms to try to wake up before dawn again. But again I just went back to sleep. I need to work on trying to get out of bed when my alarms go off. I had to work at 10 instead of 11 this morning and it kind of threw off the entire day. And I spent the entire day counting down until the end of the day as tomorrow I'm going back to vacation. I know that I had vacation a couple of weeks ago, but I am trying to use up all of my PTO before The Holidays start I'm trying to come up with anything to say about today, but it was just such a “beige day”      Feet and calves did hurt a bit in the morning, the calves did soo

I've been really kind of pissed off the last day or two. I'm not sure what's going on with that. It's not that anybody is doing anything specific, it's just that my “fight or flight” seems to be ramped up. Maybe too many energy drinks? Or maybe it's the smoked sausages. I didn't look at the ingredients, but I'm willing to bet money that they have high fructose corn syrup in them. And I did have Mac and cheese for dinner last night. But that wouldn't explain why I was so irritable yesterday. I hope I'm not snapping at everybody I come across, but I have noticed that I AM TALKING

The last several days I've woke up with a bit of a headache and some other “unwellness” stuff but they usually go away when I get up and moving. Today however the feet, ankles, and knees were just pain all day today. I'm seeing online that Keto can cause a deficiency in potassium and magnesium and that can cause cramping and pain in the muscles. I think I'll be adding those supplements to the shopping list for next week. I do like the idea that you should take all of your vitamins and nutrients through the food that you eat so if anybody has any suggestions for any food that I should be eating that contains the nutrients that I'm missing I would gr

Many places online say that a daily weigh in is just not a good thing to do. But I'm just such a data junkie I hate to see any gaps in the data. I'm going to guess the up for today is just water weight, I drank a lot of water last night. And I was forcing myself to eat those pork rinds last night.      Didn't have a headache this morning, but feet and calves are sore whenever I stand up. I think I've been spending too much time at my desk over the last couple of days. Today I did get the recipe video for Tuesday edited and uploaded. Today was the first day back to work from last weeks PTO and I was wanting to wake up early enough to get the Weekly Weigh In done before work. And I was frustrated all of last week as I woke up after 10am almost every day last week. I know that PTO is supposed to be time off to sit down, but it was frustrating that it was almost noon by the time I got up and going to do anything. But today I was up at the first alarm and up and going by the third. I was in an amazing mood... until I stood on the scale for the weigh in. That hurt.      W

I know I have things that I want to do, need to do, but I'm just laying there, waiting until I have to go to work. I don't feel depressed (well I'm not all that excited to go back to work) I just feel so comfortable laying there.      Didn't take the time for breakfast again today. But it didn't effect me much today. Perhaps it was because of how busy it was for the first couple of hours of work. Today started out just as busy as it was yesterday, but it eventually faded off. I'm a bit annoyed that when I got the initial trash taken out it half filled the damned dumpster. Oh well, that's another great thing about the meal plan, er, plan that I want to follow. It doesn't generate much waste. First half of work went amazingly smoothly. Which is interesting because I was running the self checkout for three hours. I still hate running self checkout. But at least with the mental energy that I have from the diet I was able to keep up with the whirling spinning dance that is running self checkout. Feet and calves are still very

I was actually singing and dancing around and I was even randomly braking out into giggling fits...And then I got to work.      That was a mood switch so strong I should have been wearing a neck-brace. I took too long making the weekly weigh in video to get breakfast cooked so I just went into work a few minutes early and when I got there the customer service manager was on her lunch break, she said that I was in for an interesting day. As it was New Years Day and also Sunday I asked her if people were trying to buying a lot of beer. (As we can't sell beer on Sunday) She seemed a bit confused by my question. She said, no. We had one person not show up, two people call in sick and one person that had quit a week ago and no one h

Did think about walking to work this morning. The weather that we're going to have this week is my favorite kind of weather. Dark, cool, and a bit rainy. That is perfection to me. But then reality reminded me that my feet burn like crazy even when I am driving the two miles to work. Maybe if I lose enough weight eventually I can get back to the point where I can walk to work again. But in the 350's (>159kg) I don't think that would be a good idea. But lately, to be honest, I've been just lingering in bed until I determine that I've laid in bed long enough and I really need to get up. I really need to get more motivated in my life. I have so many things that I want to do, and work on. There really isn't a valid excuse for me to not do anything until I have to go to work. But when I did finally did get up I thought I would try this project again.  For my “lunch break” (which was at around 3pm). I had an Italian sandwich that the deli has for sell. Almost 10 lbs (about 4.5 kg) in a single day is...wow. I don't think this will be a trend. But I have to say my knees are feeling better today than they have been in the last couple of weeks. Feet are still cranky, it would seem that my knees hurt when I'm around 360 lbs (163.3 kg) and my feet stop hurting when I'm under 330 lbs (149.7 kg). I would tell her not to worry, but that that's kind of her job. She recommended a YouTube channel known as FlyLady to me to help with my lack of organizational skills. Ironically I haven't had time to check out her channel yet I was able to wake up early enough to cook breakfast. Bacon and eggs are good for Keto, but I'm not sure if I'll want to have this every single day. Cooked a large pot of chili yesterday so had leftovers. This is basically my weight loss plan, financial plan, time saving plans coming together. So many things work out when I plan out my meals and since I live by myself (mostly, my roommate is a trucker) I cook a large casserole or a large pot of soup and separate it into individual servings. Had chili for lunch. And had Ch
