I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

It helped that I didn't have Twitter (I'm sorry “X”) on my phone. I couldn't find my tape-measure so I'm not 100% certain on my waist measurement, but I'm not going to guess that it changed much. My belly is feeling a bit tight, but that might be the Seltzer water that. I forgot that I wanted to wait until I was done at the Y to step on the scale. And when I first woke up I stepped on it and it said, 353.8 lbs (160.5 kg) That's 1.8 lbs (0.8 kg) up from yesterday. I tried to console myself with the idea of daily fluctuations and happiness isn't a number on the scale. That was a good motivator to go to the YMCA like I want to be doing. And when I got back from the Y ...

I really just didn't want to do anything. I finally convinced myself that I hated the effects of not moving than I hated the getting up and moving. I woke up at about 7:30 which is really good for me, but it was close to 10am by the time I got up and moving. Something got a-hold of me and it's been a-hold of me all day long. I did convince myself to get to the YMCA and I did stay a little bit longer in the weight room than I did on Saturday, but still feel hesitant being in there. Might just need to build the habit. And again I felt better in the cardio room on the treadmill. I really pushed myself on the treadmill. Got it up to 3 mph (4.8 kph) for 10 minutes. I waited to weigh in until I was back from the YMCA. I've noti...

It would be easy to blame the weather. It's a nice gentle rain. The kind of rain that this area needs. But it's the kind that makes it easy to sit here just listening. It really was another one of those, "Blink and it's three hours later" kind of days. Trying to do, "No Shave November"  but I'm starting to get to where the facial hair is getting annoying. I've been told that it stops getting irritating after a point, but I've had yet to find that point. I put some extra shampoo on my face when I showered this morning. It didn't help. I did manage to get a Store Story video posted, and finished editing a recipe video. But I recorded and did most of the editing of both of th...

Kind of a hard time getting up and going. It was nice to be down almost a pound and a half from last week. It had been a frustrating trend for a while each week I've been down for each week, but the weight had been up from the Saturday's post. But this week I'm down for the week and also for the day. I am grateful that today was another slow and smooth day at work. When I got there I was told that the Customer Service Manager was wanting me to update the closing reports for the new year. It really isn't hard to do (but it did take all day to do) All that needed to be done was rename each file, change the dates inside the file, and clear the da...

It is somewhere inside of the Samsung Health app, but I can't seem to find it organically during the day. Last nights (12-8-23) session wasn't as effective as the previous night's (12-7-23) session. When the notification came up it had a collection of things to choose from and it said that the one I did previously was the “Seven Days of Relaxation” But when I choose that one it started saying the same thing it said the previous time. So I chose a different button on the front of that app. I'm thinking that is the next lesson on the “Seven Days of Relaxation” as it was labeled as something it said that was a Dutch term that (mo...

I had set my alarms to try to wake up before dawn again. But again I just went back to sleep. I need to work on trying to get out of bed when my alarms go off. I had to work at 10 instead of 11 this morning and it kind of threw off the entire day. And I spent the entire day counting down until the end of the day as tomorrow I'm going back to vacation. I know that I had vacation a couple of weeks ago, but I am trying to use up all of my PTO before The Holidays start I'm trying to come up with anything to say about today, but it was just such a “beige day”      Feet and calves did hurt a bit in the mornin...

I've been really kind of pissed off the last day or two. I'm not sure what's going on with that. It's not that anybody is doing anything specific, it's just that my “fight or flight” seems to be ramped up. Maybe too many energy drinks? Or maybe it's the smoked sausages. I didn't look at the ingredients, but I'm willing to bet money that they have high fructose corn syrup in them. And I did have Mac and cheese for dinner last night. But that wouldn't explain why I was so irritable yesterday. I hope I'm not snapping at everybody I come across, but I have noticed that I AM TALKING ...

The last several days I've woke up with a bit of a headache and some other “unwellness” stuff but they usually go away when I get up and moving. Today however the feet, ankles, and knees were just pain all day today. I'm seeing online that Keto can cause a deficiency in potassium and magnesium and that can cause cramping and pain in the muscles. I think I'll be adding those supplements to the shopping list for next week. I do like the idea that you should take all of your vitamins and nutrients through the food that you eat so if anybody has any suggestions for any food that I should be eating that contains the nutrients that I'm missing I would gr...

Many places online say that a daily weigh in is just not a good thing to do. But I'm just such a data junkie I hate to see any gaps in the data. I'm going to guess the up for today is just water weight, I drank a lot of water last night. And I was forcing myself to eat those pork rinds last night.      Didn't have a headache this morning, but feet and calves are sore whenever I stand up. I think I've been spending too much time at my desk over the last couple of days. Today I did get the recipe video for Tuesday edited and uploaded. And an inventory for the meal plan for the next seven days. I've also be...

Today was the first day back to work from last weeks PTO and I was wanting to wake up early enough to get the Weekly Weigh In done before work. And I was frustrated all of last week as I woke up after 10am almost every day last week. I know that PTO is supposed to be time off to sit down, but it was frustrating that it was almost noon by the time I got up and going to do anything. But today I was up at the first alarm and up and going by the third. I was in an amazing mood... until I stood on the scale for the weigh in. ...

I wake up around 8 every morning and I just lay around waiting until I have to get ready for work. I know I have things that I want to do, need to do, but I'm just laying there, waiting until I have to go to work. I don't feel depressed (well I'm not all that excited to go back to work) I just feel so comfortable laying there.      Didn't take the time for breakfast again today. But it didn't effect me much today. Perhaps it was because of how busy it was for the first couple of hours of work. Today started out just as busy as it was yesterday, but it eventually faded off. I've, ironically, always worked on Labor Day, so I'm not sure what people ar...

I had forgotten to take my dumpster out to the curb last week so it was overfilled so I couldn't take out the trash for the last several days. I'm a bit annoyed that when I got the initial trash taken out it half filled the damned dumpster. Oh well, that's another great thing about the meal plan, er, plan that I want to follow. It doesn't generate much waste. First half of work went amazingly smoothly. Which is interesting because I was running the self checkout for three hours. I still hate running self checkout. But at least with the mental energy that I have from the diet I was able to keep up with the whirling spinning dance that is running self checkout. Feet and calves are still very ...

Breakfast: X Lunch: Hot Dogs Dinner: Leftover Pork Steak Soda: Sparkling Water, 2L Big K Diet Soda      Great weigh in this morning. This put me into an AMAZING mood. I was actually singing and dancing around and I was even randomly braking out into giggling fits...And then I got to work.      That was a mood switch so strong I should have been wearing a neck-brace. I took too long making the weekly weigh in video to get breakfast cooked so I just went into work a few minutes early and when I got there the customer service manager was on her lunch break, she said that I was in for an interesting day. As it was New Years Day and also Sunday I asked her if people were trying to buying a lot of beer. (As we can't sell beer on Sunday) She seemed a bit confused by my question. She said, no. We had one person not show up, two people call in sick and one person that had qui...

Drinks: can of Diet Pepsi, 2x Sparkling water Didn't have a clean pan to cook any bacon for breakfast. Tried to get dishes done before work, but it didn't happen. Did think about walking to work this morning. The weather that we're going to have this week is my favorite kind of weather. Dark, cool, and a bit rainy. That is perfection to me. But then reality reminded me that my feet burn like crazy even when I am driving the two miles to work. Maybe if I lose enough weight eventually I can get back to the point where I can walk to work again. But in the 350's (>159kg) I don't think that would be a good idea. Used the last packet of Ramen for lunch. :( Going to have to wait til payday to pick up another box. I know that Ramen isn't great for my diet, but it's go...
