Weight: 344.2 lbs ( 156.1 kg) BMI: 44.2 Waist: 57.5 in (146.1 cm) WtHr: 77.7% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Baked Chicken Snack: Sea Salt Mixed Nuts Dinner: Bratwursts Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sober Week 4 (Day 30) YMCA: X Finally some progress on the waist. I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

Weight: 345.4 lbs ( 156.7 kg) BMI: 44.3 Waist: 58 in (147.3 cm) WtHr: 78.4% Breakfast: Egg Stuff ? Lunch: Baked Chicken Dinner: Hamburger Patties with Cheesy Garlic Bread Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Red Bull, Sugar Free Monster, Sober Week 4 (Day 29) YMCA: X Finally got around to cooking that recipe video that I'm planning to upload next week. I wasn't able to do the taste test part of it because Roommate woke up while I was still cooking. But it did smell quite nice. And I took the opportunity to take inventory of the freezer to set up the meal plan for the week. The recipe that I cooked would have made a better lunch than a breakfast. The recipe called for sausage, but the sausage that I had was only good until today. But I wasn't confident that I would be able to cook it today so I picked up another pack of sausage last night on the way home from work. But as I was able to cook that recipe I ended up having an extra thing of sausage that was ...

Weight: 348.4 lbs ( 158.0 kg) BMI: 44.7 Waist: 58 in (147.3 cm) WtHr: 78.4% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Cheeseburger Patties, Mac and Cheese Dinner: Mississippi Roast Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Snack: Last of The European Cookies Sober Week 1 (Day 9) YMCA: X Had a hard time falling asleep last night. Didn't feel bad or sick or anything. It's just that sleep just didn't happen. I wonder if it had anything to do with the couple glasses of soda that I had at Grandma's Christmas party. I'm not usually affected (effected?) by caffeine, but lately I've been avoiding any caffeinated drinks in the evenings. But although I had a hard time getting to sleep, I was able to get out of bed fairly easily this morning. I had a bit of a Christmas Miracle this morning. I usually get paid on Thursday and normally when payday lands on a holiday we get paid a day early. I was assuming that we'd get paid on Thursday like normal. I wasn't sure if the pay ...

FIrst half of the day was awesome Daily Blog May 31, 2023

Weight: 329.6 lbs ( 149.5 kg) BMI: 42.3 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Lasagna Soup Dinner: Burger patties (grilled), Mac and cheese Drinks: couple cups of coffee; ~3600ml water, 6pk Bud Light      Woke up in a good mood. With the recipe videos that I recorded yesterday and the inventory I took of the freezer, I am stocked up with food for the next month and a half. So if I stick with the discipline for the next month and a half the only food I'll have to buy is bacon, coffee, and cream for said coffee. And the only dishes I'll have to do is cleaning off the pan I cook bacon in and rinsing off the bowls/silverware of the leftovers. That is if I have the discipline to stick with this plan. I know that it is a good plan because it worked before. I just didn't have the discipline to stick to it.      The “After Vacation anger” that I was expecting on Sunday showed up today after lunch. I'm not sure how much of i...

Rough Start to the Month Daily Blog March 1, 2023

Weight: 335.8 lbs ( 152.3 kg) BMI: 43.1 Waist: 55 in ( 139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Village Inn Chicken Fried Steak, eggs, Biscuits and Gravy, hash-browns Lunch: Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Sausages, Sparkling Water Dinner: Hamburger patties, Chips Drinks: 2L Pepsi Wild Cherry Zero      Today was the last day the roommate was in town and I had to pick him up from him dropping off the truck he was renting. He suggested that we go to Village Inn for breakfast. And all of the way from the rental place to the restaurant I was thinking I just need to order off of the Al Le Carte section of the menu. But when we got there I chickened out from ordering anything fancy. And it's been quite some time since I've had a chicken fried steak. The waitress asked me if I wanted pancakes or biscuits and gravy. And it's been a REALLY long time since I've had “Shit on a shingle” And those were really good buttermilk biscuits (still crappy hash-browns) so breakfast was not Keto, ...

Waist: 53 inches Weight: 322.4 lbs BMI: 40.2 Breakfast: Pot of Coffee, 2x Hamburger Patties, shredded cheese Lunch: Jalapeno Popper Chicken Casserole Dinner: 8 Pack of Hot Dogs Notes: I haven't been doing my keto diet recently. No real reason why other than laziness. But I have been doing really good on it so far this month. Of course it's only a few days into the month so far so we'll see how long I can do keto and how often I will update this blog. I want this to be a daily thing. But it is surprisingly difficult to keep this log. I didn't exactly stick to my plan for dinner. I picked up a pack of hot dogs. I do have some food in my fridge that I could have had, but I just didn't feel like having the food I had. Which is a habit that I need to break. Not sure if these cheep hot dogs count for keto, but they have to be better than the mac and cheese or hamburger helper that I would have normally bought.

Weight: 340.2 lbs Waist: 54.5 Mood: Happy, yet slightly frustrated Breakfast: Coffee, pork chops Lunch: Bacon ranch chicken casserole Dinner: Green beans, Hamburger patties Snack: cheeseburger patties, Notes: once again I gained a bit of weight. It is slightly frustrating, I keep telling myself not to worry about the day to day fluctuations, but I get so close to making progress for the year, and then never mind. I am starting to make progress on my waist line, so I'll add that to the top stats I'm not sure why I wasn't including that anyway. I did manage to get one the recipe videos recorded like I wanted to. The recipe that I uploaded yesterday was recorded a couple of months ago. I want to be recording a video a week and uploading once a month. That way I have a long back log of videos ready to be uploaded. Spent the afternoon at Mom's house, she wants to start uploading videos. Or at least start doing live streams I'm a little ...

Weight: 338.8 lbs Mood: Rocking Breakfast: 2x hamburger patties, bacon ranch chicken casserole Lunch: Deli Baked Chicken Dinner: Pork chops, can of Foster's Beer Notes: Didn't get the new bed that my dad brought over. Unfortunately it didn't fit up the stairs to my bedroom. Dad seemed to be more upset about it not fitting than I was. He told me just put the mattress I have on the floor until I was able to buy a new frame for it. Which I felt kind of silly for not doing before. And I have to say that waking up this morning was SIGNIFICANTLY better that I have in quite a while. This feels strange to say but I was in such an up and rocking mood today before work I was getting angry and frustrated with people at work because they just weren't operating at my level. I eventually got used to being around other people, but it was rough going for a bit. I was also kind of frustrated because I was going to walk to work, but just as I left my hous...

Weight: 336.6 lbs Mood: Disappointed Breakfast: Vega Shake with 1 cup of milk Lunch: Baked Chicken (Breast, Wing, Thigh, Leg) Dinner: 5 pack of Cheddar Brats Snack: 2xBacon Cheddar Beef Burger Patties with cheese Notes: I had work the opening shift at work today so I didn't really get a chance to make a full fruit smoothie, but luckily I still had some Vega meal shake left over so that's what I had for breakfast. Can't really say that I have been hungry for breakfast, or at all really. I just had breakfast because I didn't want to risk getting “Hangry” at someone and snapping at the wrong person at the wrong time. And it turns out that the store was getting the annual audit this morning. And I can tell you I was very self aware that I had slept in too late to have a proper shower and the fact that I hadn't had a chance to get laundry done in a while. But I guess the audit went alright, in fact I seemed to really impress the distr...

Weight: 344.6 lbs Waist: 55 in Mood: Calm Breakfast: Pot of Coffee Lunch: Grilled Chicken Breast Snack: Bacon Cheddar hamburger patties, a couple of cans of Bud light Dinner: Country Ribs, broccoli cuts, garden salad with peppercorn ranch dressing Notes: when doing smoothies for breakfast it is important to remember to wash the blender afterwords. I didn't get the dishes done yesterday and to be honest the main reason I had pork steaks for dinner last night was the fact I had no clean dishes left to cook with. And I'll admit that it is nasty to admit that my kitchen was filled with dirty dishes that were several days old. But I have not been managing my time very well. I did manage to convince myself to walk to work today. It was just a three and a half hour shift, so it was a short day. The hang up was I was debating whether or not to cook the spare ribs I have in my refrigerator. But the ribs take 2 and a half hours to cook and by the time I g...
