I woke up at 8am and just kind of laid there for most of the 9 O'clock hour. Again, I wasn't sick or feeling ill, I just really had to fight against the idea of laying around on my day off. It's my day off I should just relax. But then I knew that if I didn't do anything I'd get frustrated that I didn't do anything on my day off. Weight was up a bit, but within the regular fluctuations. I worked on a script for the store story video for this week. But did seem to spend a lot of time just kind of sitting around. I'm trying to convince myself that sitting around on a day off isn't a bad thing. I...

Keto Week 1 (Day 9)

I keep getting distracted from writing on this today. I keep staring at the Financial program like something is going to jump out at me. I'm experimenting with a “transfer” into the “Cash” account. I'm going to record an “allowance” that is going to be expressed as a “transfer” into the Cash account each week and as I spend money over the week I'll subtract the amount spent from the transfer for next week. I'm kind of tired to explain the thought process very well, and the attempt went on for way too much of a ramble.

I had some ingredients left from the last time I made the Paleo Keto Gumbo and some other ingredients had digital coupons on them so I took that as a sign to make another batch for the lunch this week. I had some Baked Chicken for lunch today while that cooked though.

I visited Mom to pick up some eggs that her chickens had laid. I had traded her the eggs for some vegetable scraps that I had left from various recipes for her compost. She was quite proud of showing off her garden and what she was planning on doing with it in the next couple of years.

Personally I'm just trying to get my bills paid. At the risk of sounding avaricious, I really can't think of a goal outside of saving up enough to get the next batch of bills paid. But that would be such a weight off of my brain. And so far all it seems to take is some time, and following the plan.

I did get around to taking inventory but I'm not 100% confident on the exact count as I kept getting distracted while counting the individual servings. I'm pretty sure that I counted each type of item, but the exact number of each one is a bit of a question. I think I might redo the count tomorrow morning.

Something that I WILL be doing is buying some flyswatters. I had forgotten to put them on my shopping list to buy with the groceries today. But they've been driving me insane as I've been trying to think of what to say for today. Man, I cannot wait for fall to KO these damned insects.

bit of a crunch at the end to get this posted. Brain was starting to fall asleep. I really did start writing this early, but writers block hit hard.
