My jaw had a low ache to it all night. Not strong enough to do much other than keep me awake doing the rotisserie chicken all night trying to find the comfortable position. Over the day yesterday it didn't hurt that much more, but it was manageable during the day. It didn't really hurt when I had the sausage patties yesterday for breakfast or Bratwursts for lunch yesterday. But when Mom prepared Pork Steak it felt like fire going through my jaw. I had to keep grabbing bottles of water as cool water felt good on the left side of my mouth, but as it warmed in my mouth it lo...

Keto Day 3

When I went to bed last night I was going to read for a little bit, but I just went right to bed. The last thing I remember is that I haven't tried to meditate in a long time...and then I woke up this morning. So I guess that it worked.

Kind of growling at the scale this morning. Happiness is not a number on the scale, fluctuations happen, still under average yada yadda etc etc. It is exciting that this weigh in brings 2025 under the average for 2023 making this year have the lowest average weight of the decade (so far) It would be fun to have a year that would be lower than any in the 2010's as I had stared back in 2014.

It is curious that the checks I wrote on Tuesday hadn't landed by Noon. Tuesday's check usually drops at 11am. The only thing that I can think of is the computer issues that they had on Tuesday with the debit card is effecting the check processing. I'm not too worried about it When they do come through I'll still have the amount that I want to have for the weekly allowance. The checks did end up landing at around 1pm. Which was a relief. It is a little annoying that I spent most of the vacation waiting for most of it to be over. But hey most of the bills are paid now. Next week I'll be paying the Water and Phone bills and car insurance. The week after that will be Rent, then the internet the week after that. But if I'm doing the math right after I pay the Internet for September I'll “skip” the bill for October and pay October and November's bill at the end of October and then I'll finally be caught up on all of the bills so I wont be paying any month's bill at the end of the month. I'll be paying the monthly bills at the end of the previous month. End of November I'll be paying December bills, End of December is paying January bills etc. It would be fun to pay the Next month's bills when the current Rent check clears, but that's going to take a while of saving still yet.

I did the recount of the fridge and freezer. And yes there are enough meals to last for the week. When I was doing the shopping on Tuesday the Meat Manager told me about the KC strip steaks are $9.99/lb on digital coupon this week. (not sponsored) I had to run by the store to grab some cheese for the Taco Salad and I was looking around and I am hoping that there will be the big 3 packs when I do shopping on Tuesday

Good old Bethesda. I decided to play some oblivion. Finished a couple of quests, deiced to clear out a goblin infested mine. Took about two hours to clear the mine of the goblins and grab all of the loot, then the game crashed just as I was leaving the mine. And as the game crashed during the Autosave the save was corrupted. Thankfully I had properly saved when doing the last quest. That last quest looked like it needed a lot of stealth so I had saved before doing it. But again it was two hours ago. I didn't feel like doing it all over again.

The original plan was to have flat iron steak in the taco salad, but when I did grocery shopping on Tuesday the store was out of them. They did, however, have this diced “taco beef” so I thought I would try to do that in the taco salad. I have to say that I prefer the ground beef in the salad to this “diced beef” as when I browned it the beef kind of came apart into these little tough chunks of meat.

This is an early post, but I can't think of anything else to say and if you're trying to force yourself to say something, you probably aren't saying anything important. I think I might try reading some more.
