Sober Day 3?

Had a hard time getting going this morning. Not feeling physically, mentally, or emotionally bad. Just hard fighting the momentum of just sitting here. Another day where it was like the gravity is up too high or something. I did get around to getting the Bacon and Eggs done. Didn't take the time to have Coffee, but I'm pretty sure that I drink too much of that anyway.
Had a good laugh at the radio. A commercial (I don't remember what company the advertisement was for) stated that they'll ALWAYS say “Merry Christmas” because it has always been and it'll always be Christmas to them. They did the spiel for their commercial, then they ended their commercial with, “And we wish you a happy and safe Holiday Season.” I'm going to be laughing about that for a while.
Spent the day at Mom's house doing laundry. She offered some Corned Beef Hash. She has started a canning hobby. She had used some cinnamon in the brine when she made the corned beef. I'm impressed with the homemade corned beef. The only corned beef that I've ever had was the beef from the store that was already “corned”. It took her a couple of times telling me that I caught on what she was saying when she told me that she had made her own corned beef. She mentioned that she didn't like the cinnamon in it. It did make the meat taste a bit strange (not bad, just different), but it was good in the potatoes. As it had potatoes in it I can't really call this a “Keto” post. She offered the lunch right as I was getting there, and right after I had breakfast, but her mention of cinnamon made me curious.
While the laundry machines were going I checked on Grandma's Christmas lights as I'm going to be setting up her decorations tomorrow, depending on the wind. It was a bit breezy today. Grandma told me if it is too windy tomorrow I should wait to put up her lights, as I do have to go up onto her roof. But it's Kansas, if you're waiting for the wind to quit blowing, you're going to be waiting for a while. But the forecast doesn't look too bad for tomorrow, however that's a forecast...for Kansas.
After doing laundry I ran to the store to take advantage of a sale on Chuck Roasts. I found myself doing laps around the beer isle (went to the big store) trying to convince myself that I didn't want to buy beer. “It's just this one time” It'll be one time today, and then tomorrow, and then etc. “You've already failed for the year, just start over in the new year” Or I could just avoid it now. The desire was too strong to walk away from, so I compromised by picking up a case of Nonalcoholic Beer. (lol I keep misspelling beer as “Beef”) So I'm not sure if this post counts. Google seems to be split on if this is a good compromise.
I noticed something strange about the statistics of my blog. Every 10 days or so there will be a MASSIVE spike of “views” Up into the hundreds, sometimes over a thousand “views” in a single day. The spike doesn't show up on Adsense, or in Google Analytics, just on the Blogger “Stats” page. Between the spikes, I'll get one or two views a day, and then it'll jump up to 450 or 945 views for one day, then back to one or two views a day. I just can't help but wonder if they're using my blog posts to “train” AI. If so it'd be nice to get a bit of a kickback if my posts are going to be making them richer.
