I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

I decided to take the social media apps (Facebook, X, Reddit) off of my phone again. I've been spending WAY too much time zombie scrolling. I'm not going to fully abandon all of the social medias, they're my only window to the outside world, but I spend WAY too much time staring at my phone. A normal day I usually wake up around 8am, but then lay there until I have to go to work scrolling through twitter. This has to end. I still spent all day pulling my phone out of my pocket and looking through the apps.

So...today was Labor Day. What did I do for Labor Day? I worked, yes I worked for Labor Day. Yeah, that does mean that I lAbOrEd oN lAbOr DaY! That is so creative that you pointed that out, so very creative, just as creative as the other 17 people pointed out that a person working in a grocery store that is open is working on a holiday that supposedly honors the working class. Seriously, what do people do for Labor Day? The only differences from today and any other day is that they didn't pick up the mail and the pharmacy closed early. I know that this is technically the unofficial end of summer and Memorial Day was the beginning of Summer. And I know that people have cookouts for Memorial Day, do people have cookouts for Labor Day?

Another day that went by suspiciously smoothly. Kind of makes it hard to write out a blog when literally nothing happens. Seriously the hardest thing to deal with today (outside of the smart asses pointing out that I was working on Labor Day) was just waiting for the day to wrap up. It seemed like it was 9 hours of waiting for the day to end. I really shouldn't complain about such days, but it really does make it hard for me to not think I'm wasting my life away. There were quite a few HUMONGOUS orders that came through my line. Even in this day in age a $400-$500 grocery order is still a honking order. And there were several of those orders coming through. I'm not sure if those were because it's the holiday, it's because it's the first Monday of the month, the end of season (er unofficial end of summer), or if people just decided to panic today. I'm going with the “just decided to panic” option because each time those massive orders came through there was four or five adults with each order that were SCREAMING AT EACH OTHER. I wasn't getting the feeling that they were angry at each other. They were just four or five people who were insisting that they were the ones talking so they were all trying to talk over each other. And that was three or four times over the course of the day. So it was a pretty calm day except for the few people trying to play Supermarket Sweep.

I wasn't planning on having another Mac and Cheese for dinner this evening, but baking the chicken takes a while and I was really hungry after work. Feet did feel a little sore this evening, I'm not sure if that was just because I was running a lot today, or if I had broke Ketosis yesterday with the mac and cheese that I had for dinner yesterday and this evening. I don't want to be too religious about food. I am wanting to avoid carbs, but I did buy some the other day. I might have another box tomorrow for lunch. We'll see what happens. But I think I'm going to change the title of the next couple of posts until I get done with the mac and cheese that I bought. Can't really have a Daily Keto blog if you're eating Mac and cheese every day.
