I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

Technically today so I'll include it in snacks, but Roommate convinced me to have a can of Black Eyed Peas at midnight. I was a bit hesitant. Supposedly eating Black Eyed Peas at midnight is good luck for the new year. I've only tried it a couple of times. Including 2018, and 2020. Let's just say that those weren't very lucky years. But the beans turned out pretty good. I had microwaved them for a couple of minutes with a couple tablespoons of butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. A lot of people had asked me where the Black eyed peas were. I had to tell more than one person, more than once, that they were sold out.

Had a bit of a hard time falling asleep last night. Probably because of all of the energy drinks that I had yesterday afternoon. But after midnight I felt like there was a wave that came through and lifted a weight. But I'm pretty sure I feel that every year at New Years. I always feel energized on New Years day. It was surprisingly easy to wake up and get moving this morning. And when I got to work I was in an amazing mood. And I was pretty chill all day long. This is nice to have a major holiday where not much goes wrong. There was a lady who called in sick right before she was supposed to come in, but another cashier volunteered to stay late even before I finished telling him that his relief had called in.

I am kind of concerned because I remember several days ago The Customer Service Manager was telling me things that we need to do to get the store ready for the new year. But that was the day that the plumbing went bad and I had the last couple days off and now I do NOT remember what all she needed me to relay to the others to do.

I did pick up a couple cans of this Diet Arizona Lemonade flavored Tea. These 22oz cans are on sale for only 75 cents. And the regular price is only 99 cents. Beating the heck out of the $1.84 per shot of the energy shots, the $1.56 Powerade, or the $3.11 Red Bull (I promise that this blog isn't sponsored) I need to stop buying any of these drinks during the day as I'm more often not drinking these more for entertainment than because I'm thirsty. But the Diet Teas are going to be a lot cheaper if I feel like picking one up.

Lunch was a serving of an AI recipe that I made back in October. I really have to say that love this meal plan...er, plan. Still feels a bit strange to walk out of the store without buying anything. I have to almost chant, “You already have food at home” while I'm going to clock out, and when walking out of the store to go home for lunch, and for the day.

Having a lot of snapping and crackling in my joints today. Particularly in my shoulders, elbows, knees, and ankles. From time to time I'd rotate my forearms and my elbows and there were some nasty sounding crunches. Coworkers would see me holding my elbows and ask me if I was cold. And to be fair, it did finally and suddenly decide to be winter out there but I could give them a demonstration by leaning on the desk and my collar bones would crackle and snap. Grandma asked if we had a type of Instant Tea at the store and I took a picture of the types we had in stock and while bending down my spine felt and sounded like popcorn. And that felt AMAZING. After work I was sitting at my computer and I'd lift my heels and my ankles sounded like they had snapped my feet off. The joints don't really hurt, it's more like a sharp release.

I was good on my diet for breakfast and lunch, but for dinner I decided to have some pork loin chops on the Foreman Grill and these chops are not very big so I had some Mac and Cheese to with them. I have to say that the Foreman Grill did not help those pork chops out very much. They were the really small ones, and the four of them fit perfectly on the grill, but the lid of the grill pushed down on them too much and squished them while they cooked so they were little pucks of dry meat.

My eyes are starting to burn writing this out. I think it's time for bed.
