I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

I'm not going to call it a resolution; because that's a good way to not get it done, but I would like to get my 3D printers back up and going again. It's unlikely that I'd get any Cosplay done as, well I don't think I'll be able to lose enough gut to fit into an Iron Man or Master Chief suit. But it would be nice to get some projects going again.

Started off the day thinking that it was nice to start the day without the existential dread that I've been dealing with lately. I've been feeling a lot more optimistic lately. Not sure if that's the feeling of the New Year, or the lack of the downer that is alcohol. And dealing with the people panic buying was a lot easier than it has been in the past.

A lot of people were freaking out because they're expecting a winter storm to come in this weekend. And also there was a change in the state's sales tax system so a lot of people were coming in to get “tax free” groceries. Thankfully there wasn't a lot of people that tried to argue about the sales tax. What had happened was that they had gotten rid of the sales tax at the state level, but there's still sales tax at the county and city level. And that's only on the Food Stamp level food. So there's still the full sales tax on non-food items. And there's still a 1.75% tax on food here in my hometown. It is strange that every single reaction to the lowering of the tax rate seems to be complaining. People are seriously completely pissed off that they are paying a lower tax rate on food. I just don't understand.

The Divan I had for lunch kind of tasted like cat food. It is a dairy heavy recipe and if I remember correctly dairy doesn't work very well when freezing and thawing before eating. The last couple of days when I come home for lunch I tell myself that I'm going to set up a Taco Salad. But I sit down and it's time to get back to work before I do it. All it really takes is to brown the ground beef before mixing everything up to let it chill in the fridge, but I have to get back to work before I have time to brown the hamburger. I'm repeating myself, but I'm tired. But not the same kind of tired as before I restarted this latest round of blogs.

Since I didn't have the taco salad set up I just baked some bratwursts. But I am going to need to cook that salad pretty soon. The bagged salad that goes into it isn't going to last forever.

Short post again because I got distracted after work and didn't get started until later.
