I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

The Sleep record this morning showed something interesting. I did get to bed on time, more or less, and it didn't take me long to fall asleep. But the sleep record said I didn't fall asleep until almost 2 in the morning. I have a guess as to what might make the phone think that I was awake for so long. I'm thinking that it might be because I had set the phone to play some space documentaries to listen to while I drifted off. And I think that the phone saw that I was "watching YouTube videos" instead of being asleep. Clearly the phone was playing videos, and if the phone is playing a video I have to be watching it, right? There's no way I could be asleep while "watching a video"

Today was payday for me and Roommate and he sent me his half of the rent for January so I spent most of the morning updating financial plans. He sends me his half of the rent through PayPal so it'll take a couple of days for me to get it. But it should land in my account before the rent check comes through. Which would be nice because that would mean I wouldn't have to transfer money from my “Bill Savings” account to pay rent. I mean Bill Savings is there to have money to pay bills like rent. But if I don't have to get money out of that account that's all the better.

Woke up this morning with my heels burning. It was the first time in quite some time that I stood up out of bed and had to sit back down again because my heels, ankles, and shins felt like they had knives in them. I wonder if that was because of the seed oil in the Ranch dressing that I put in the Taco Salad that I made last night. I had fried chicken and Doritos yesterday for lunch, but I had that combination previously and haven't had that reaction before. The only difference was the Ranch Dressing from last night. Who knows that might be a “N=1 experiment” meaning I can't have the store bought Ranch Dressing. Which is unfortunate, I liked the ranch dressing. I have a recipe for Homemade Ranch, but that's more of a dip than a salad dressing.

First half of work went pretty smoothly. But it had just started to snow again as I was leaving for lunch and people were starting to swarm into the store. A lot of people in the first half of the day were asking for Rock Salt. But the next truck of that is supposed to come in tomorrow (Friday). And I emphasize that it's SUPPOSED to come in tomorrow. But people just stand there and stare at me when I say that we're out until (hopefully) tomorrow, as in not today. <Stare> We are out today. <Stare> We don't have any. <Stare> We're sold out. <Stare> No have today any. Sidewalk salt sold out. <Stare> All gone, go go bye-bye.

Proud of myself that I was able to stop myself from buying any food for lunch. I did pick up a can of Sugar free Rockstar. When I was recording the spending for the day, I noted that I had bought 3 cans. Three cans of energy drink over the day and  drinking a pot of coffee at breakfast can't be good. But what was good was some Sour Cream mixed into the Fajita Soup. The last couple of times I had it I couldn't help but think that would have been a perfect addition, and yeah. It could have used a bit more cheese, but just about everything does.

At lunch I set up the slow cooker with a Mushroom Gravy Roast. It is probably the easiest way to cook a roast. It was a chuck roast with a can of Cream of Mushroom Soup, a packet of Onion Soup Mix, and a stick of butter. I was feeling fancy when I left work so I decided to pick up a can of green beans and a bagged salad. Of course I had the Ranch Dressing on the salad. I kind of wanted to see if I'd have the same reaction. That thought reminds me of an anecdote (not sure if that's the right term, but can't think of a better one) I think it's attributed to Mark Twain (again, not sure if it was him, but sounds like him, google isn't very helpful in finding the source) If a dog brushes up against a hot oven that burned it it'll be smart enough to not do it again, but a human has to do it three more times to see if it was the hot oven that burned him.

It's good to finally make another Keto post. I'll have to see how my feet feel in the morning because of the ranch dressing. But I've been doing so good on the Sobriety part, I would like to make progress on doing the meal plan part.
