I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

I don't know why the thumbnails for my blog on Facebook are showing the thumbnail for a weekly weigh in video I did a couple of weeks ago. I even posted a picture of myself in another post to try to get it to show that picture as the thumbnail. I'm going to have to do some research on how to select a lasting thumbnail.

The weigh in this morning was a bit disconcerting. I'm guessing that it was up because of how late I ate dinner. And how much pasta I ate and the amount of water I drank yesterday

Roommate woke me up this morning with a call. He was back in town for the week so I didn't have time for breakfast. He did have us go through Scooters for some coffee, I've never had Scooters before so I just had what he had. It was something known as a “Peanut butter crunch” it wasn't bad, not probably very not Keto. It had an interesting combination of sweetness of the peanut butter, and the bitterness of the coffee. It wasn't bad, but I don't think that I'll be making a habit of it. I think I prefer the regular home brewed coffee with cream.

I was good for lunch, I had the cottage cheese that I had bought to go with the spaghetti that I had bought a couple of days ago. Every once in a while I buy cottage cheese to go with spaghetti; I have no idea why I bother with the cheese, when I cook spaghetti I cook an ungodly amount. It's impossible to eat anything else with it. But it is a very Keto friendly thing to eat by itself. Particularly good with a epic crap ton of black pepper mixed in.

Had a couple of energy shots during the day, more out of habit than because I was tired. But I was really good at drinking water again today, and I didn't pick up any beer on the way out of the store.

It was surprisingly easy to walk past the beer cooler on the way out of the store this evening, but today's only the second day of my latest attempt to quit drinking beer. Although later in the evening I did feel “the thirst” and like the energy shots it felt more like a habit than it did a physical demand for the drink. It is fascinating how quickly the mood has turned around with just a day or two without the drink.

Baked some chicken for dinner. I also had a box of mac and cheese, after this one I only have one left. I'm going to miss the mac and cheese. But I think I'll rather miss my gut and pain in the feet/knees and the other things that being morbidly obese has brought on.
