I worked until 9pm last night closing the desk. It wasn't that stressful. I actually got out on time for the second time in a row that I got out on time when closing the desk. A lot of times when closing the desk I get out 15 to 20 minutes late. But last night I was able to get out right at 9 O'clock. I did pay my car registration yesterday. The invoice said that it was $150.02 and I remembered in the past when I paid with my debit card there was a fee. I thought that I would be clever and run by the store and grab a Sugar Free Red Bull and withdraw $160 and use that to pay the car registration. However when I got there there was still a fee so I ended up paying $152.54. It is really annoying to pay a fe...

Didn't get a chance to stand on the scale this morning
Breakfast: Doritos w/Queso
Lunch: Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Sausages, Macaroni Salad
Drinks: 2x Sparkling waters, 2x Kroger Energy shots, 2L Pepsi Zero Wild Cherry
Dinner: Pork steaks

Finished off the Doritos and queso for breakfast this morning I forgot about the “Don't eat unless hungry” part of the plan. I'm not going to beat myself up about it very much. It is something that I do wish I would stick to. But I'm not going to hate myself if I don't stick to it.

Macaroni Salad sounded really good during lunch. A coworker that I've told that I am wanting to do a low-carb diet asked me if macaroni salad is low-carb. I don't think that they were trying to call me out, or be snarky or anything. I just think that they were trying to make conversation. But I had to sheepishly explain that I was just falling for a craving.

It was one of those amazingly rare days where everyone actually showed up for work. Was a bit nervous about one guy. Supposedly he was in the store shopping, but he had to go to urgent care because he said that he broke his foot. The thing is that the last month or two he was wearing a boot and now he claimed to have broken his other foot. He was about an hour and a half late. All we knew was that he was supposed to be at Urgent Care, but he did eventually show up. And yeah, he says that he broke his other foot. Apparently with the boot on one foot he was putting the wrong kind of pressure on the “good” foot and now he has two bad feet. A few hours after he arrived he and the manager asked if I would be willing to stay and work for him so he could go home early. I probably would have; I'm paid by the hour, and any extra time worked is overtime (and therefore extra pay on top of the hourly pay). The thing is though every time this guy works he tries to get out early. And when he is working he barely does the job he's supposed to be doing. I probably shouldn't have turned down the extra money, but it is hard to work for someone who barely ever works for themselves. I don't think that he's being deceptive about his feet. But it's not for me to cover for his inconvenience. My feet hurt too.

I baked a couple of pork steaks for dinner.
