I actually moved my scale around to make sure that there wasn't anything underneath it. The watch scan says that there was a pretty big drop in muscle, but there was also a big drop in water weight. Which makes since because of the last couple of days. But the scan says that fat is up a little On the way home from the hospital with Roommate I happened to drive by where the new YMCA is going to be and wow that is going to be huge. Roommate was surprised that I cared because he thought that I had quit going. And it wasn't that I had given up on the idea of going to the Y it's just that I was waiting for him to go back to work.     Slow start today, today is Friday and I keep telling myself that I want to post a Store Story video every Friday. But I just couldn't get moving today. It was a different kind of not wanting to move than I've had before. Before the lack of wanting to move was more of a dread of what lies ahead of me when I do get moving. (should probably look into getting help with that kind of feeling) But today was more of a Newtonian momentum kind of thing. “A body at rest will stay at rest” And I was “well rested” this morning. I woke up, er gained consciousness, at about 8 am. Can't really say that I “woke up” when I was just laying there like that. All week long I had to keep reminding myself what day of the week it was. The drama with Avast and my bank really threw off the stuff I wanted to do this week. So I was laying in bed knowing that I work at 11, and knowing that I want to get a video done; thinking that it won't take 3 hours to get that video done, it wont take 2 hours to get that video done, it wont take an hour to get that video done, it wont take 45 minutes to record that video, it'll take more than 20 minutes to get set up and record a video and have breakfast along with DANG IT.

Work was meh. It was interesting to have the energy actually go up when I got to work. Still got frustrated about having more energy and awareness than the people around me. Had one person called in, naturally she was one of the people that was scheduled to be in each position in the front end over the day. And naturally nobody wants to come in to cover for her. But we're getting through it. Came home for lunch, I had the beef stew that I cooked the other day. I have to say that the flavor turned out really well, and the turnips are a great substitution for potatoes. In fact I think I like turnips more than potato, in this recipe anyway. But I think I used the wrong kind of beef in the recipe, it tastes good, but the chucks feel strange in between my teeth. So I think I should have used a bigger cut of beef than the small bits that were in the package labeled “taco meat”

I really need to leave my debit card at home. When I came home for lunch I wrote that I used, “Taco Meat” in the beef stew, so I spent all evening thinking about taco salad. Sans Doritos my version of Taco salad is Ketogenic, but it wasn't in the meal plan for this week. And the difficulty sticking to my plans is one of my main frustrations in my life.

At work I did think about buying a Mega millions ticket; I kept reminding myself about “idiot tax” but the 1.3 BILLION jackpot was a big consideration. But a single guy buying a single ticket in nowhere Kansas isn't going to be the winner. But the more people who buy a ticket the more likely someone somewhere is going to win. But I really shouldn't be burning my money on gambling that has chances that low. What sealed the decision was when I was covering the Customer Service desk a guy kept insisting that he wanted to buy a “Quick Pick” on the Mega Millions but every time I printed a ticket he insisted that it was the wrong kind of ticket. So by the time I figured out that he was wanting two tickets with the “Megaplier bonus” on it there were about six or seven tickets printed off waiting to be bought. I made a simple prayer, “Lord if it is your will that I find success in the lottery, leave one of these tickets for me to buy.” Over next twenty minutes The Almighty sent the entire horde into the store to buy lottery tickets, and just about every single one of them seemed to ask if we had any “mistake tickets” those tickets went pretty quick. I had a bit of a thought that it was ridiculous to pray for a sign to buy lottery tickets, so I should just go ahead and pick up a ticket anyway. But the counter thought to that is if you ask The Lord for a sign and that very thing happens within a few minutes that might be the sign you're looking for.

Okay, mystery solved (I think?). About the Avast charges. The Avast "Driver Updater" is something that I did get an email about it, but I didn't seem to have noticed. So that was something that I had somehow signed up for. But isn't showing up on my subscriptions on their website. But all of the Avast services that I'm subscribed to should be attached to the old debit card, so if there are any other renewals that are coming up they should be rejected because that old card was canceled and replaced. So there shouldn't be any more surprise charges that'll pop out of nowhere 🤞
