There have been days in the past when I woke up I would have to wobble around like I was walking on fiery stilts until my legs loosened up. This morning I wasn't exactly dancing around, I was able to get up and get going quite easily and there wasn't any pain. I'm sure that I'll be limping by the end of the evening. It was nice to get up and not have to sit back down with a painful gasp. It was exciting to see the down on the scale again and seeing that it's only 0.3 lbs (~5oz <136 g>) from the weight at the beginning of the year. If it gets down below the beginning of the year al...

My feet this morning felt like they were in a vice! Particularly along the sides of the feet. Not sure if that was because I'm back to work from PTO last week, because my weight is trending back upwards, or because of the Mac and Cheese that I had last night. Calves were also really stiff and sore.

Work was another challenging day. I have no idea why it was so stomping busy all day long. People were loading up their carts and having orders in the hundreds and hundreds of dollars. And there were other things that would make this post a small novel about whining about work and that's just not what I want this blog to be.

I was able to avoid buying lunch again today. The main thought that helped me avoid spending more on food when I already have food was the fact that I paid my car insurance today. And that took up all of my paycheck and most of the money I had in my savings account. A little nervous what that means for next month.

But the struggle for lunch I was going to have some of the Southwest Chicken Soup that I have on hand. But the soup that I had made was too chunky to eat so I've been wanting to use a food processor to smooth it out. But today I was too frazzled from work and trying to pour it back and fourth from freezer bag, to processor, (and to bowl and back to processor because I forgot the blade for the processor) I was just spilling it everywhere. So I just decided to have some cabbage soup instead. It is kind of impressive how long that stuff has lasted. I made that stuff back in October and I still have a couple of servings left. (vacuum sealed + freezer)

As I was about to leave to go back to work I had almost forgot to put the roast in the slow cooker. I had taken it out of the fridge when I got home for lunch. So if I hadn't put in the crock pot it would have sat on the counter until I got home. Which would have been VERY unfortunate. I had bought that roast when it was on a very good sale, but not a sale that was good enough for me to just throw it away because I had forgotten to cook it. So I did remember to put the roast in the crock pot, but I didn't have the special sugar free BBQ sauce so I just used regular BBQ sauce and a stick of butter. Not as good, but it's what I have.

I want to post every day, but the last couple of days I've been too zombie-fried from work to make a post quickly enough to post it before midnight. I'm sure it still counts as a daily blog as long as I still post every night right? And hey, time zones are a thing right?
