There have been days in the past when I woke up I would have to wobble around like I was walking on fiery stilts until my legs loosened up. This morning I wasn't exactly dancing around, I was able to get up and get going quite easily and there wasn't any pain. I'm sure that I'll be limping by the end of the evening. It was nice to get up and not have to sit back down with a painful gasp. It was exciting to see the down on the scale again and seeing that it's only 0.3 lbs (~5oz <136 g>) from the weight at the beginning of the year. If it gets down below the beginning of the year al...

Spent the morning this morning convening myself that I needed to get up. I wasn't feeling bad, in fact I was feeling a bit too good. A bit of a body at rest staying at rest. I did manage to get a good chunk of the general update video script done. I did think about recording that video when I went home for lunch. But someone made me angry on the way home and if I made a video right after that the entire video would be about that idiot. I thought about doing it after work, but I would be listening to Radio Dead Air and probably not have the energy to make a very good video. I'll try to post it tomorrow (Tuesday). So I'm trying to get the General Update Vlog done and posted and then I have a store story scripted and ready to go so I'll try to make that video as well, I don't want to post two videos in the same day so I'll be posting that Wednesday.

So instead of making a video about them let me make a blog post about them. One of the roads between my house and the store is under construction. Not a big deal, but the westbound lanes are closed making it a one way road going east. And the stop light at that intersection is a flashing red light making that intersection into a four way stop. And that is the intersection that has the closest stoplight crossing Main street on the way back home so I was going to turn east at that intersection. But there was an idiot going west on that road that was a one way going east. Again this is a four way stop. And the idiot started waving at me to continue. In the direction that they were blocking! I just drove a couple of blocks north to pass Main on the next stop light. Of course you don't have to cross Main at stoplights, but I just feel more comfortable crossing at the lights. I'm just glad that I wasn't a block or so going east on that road and some idiot who doesn't think that the construction signs apply to them decided to come the other way.

I did remember to set up a slow cooker with the chuck roast and a bit of BBQ Sauce. It took me two tries and I'm glad that I have two slow cookers because when I got the first one out I dropped the plug into the coffee can that I use as a container where I pour bacon grease into. I washed the plug off, but just didn't think that it would have been a good idea to put a wet plug in into a socket. Lunch was some cottage cheese with a whole lot of pepper. That is an awesome combination. I did think about picking up some pepperoni cheese rolls from the deli, but those were about six bucks. And the cottage cheese was only about $2 (of course I wouldn't have to had pay for the serving of lasagna that's already in my fridge) I did notice how much energy I had after lunch. Not sure to attribute that entirety to diet, but it was nice to have a day where I wasn't in zombie mode for most of it.

I was tempted to pick up some mac and cheese on the way home. Mac and cheese and BBQ beef is a good combination, just not great for the diet. And I've been jealous for how good I was feeling when I was doing good on the diet, and I don't just mean physically.
