I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

Working on 3D Printers Daily Keto Blog March 20, 2023

BMI: 42.8

Spent most of last night like a rotisserie chicken, just spinning around in bed. I'm pretty sure that it was close to 4am before I got to sleep. The three energy shots yesterday was probably to blame.

I was going to try to get the 3D printers working, but it was almost noon before I even got out of bed. And I do realize that it is a strange complaint to sleep in until noon. But that really kinds of messes up your day. I did realize that I did a carnivore day as I set up the slow cooker. I did kick myself for running to the store to pick up some more bratwursts and bacon. I really didn't need to spend more money today.

I have two 3D printers one I call Big Guy, and the other I call little bro. Big guy is the bigger of the printers it is a Creality Cr10s printer it has a build volume of 500mm cubed that's a build volume of 20 inches cubed, it would be amazing if I could get Big Guy working as I'm wanting to use it for my cosplay plans. The problem with Big Guy is that it has a bad plastic extruder and one of the screws seems to be striped so I can't get it off to replace it.

The problem with little bro (a CR10) is that it is a smaller printer, but it would still work, if I could convince it to work. An important step to 3D printing is leveling the bed, but the knobs on Little bro doesn't seem to change the level of the bed. So I spent all afternoon screaming at the printer, twisting the knobs, doing a test print, the test print failing, adjusting the knobs, doing a test print, the test print fails, rinse and repeat all...after...noon.

Emotionally I'm pretty close to throwing them both of them out and just starting over with new printers. The problem is that I've already spent over a thousand dollars on those printers (including the printers and the filament going through them) trying to get those damn things working. I really don't have the money to just buy new printers because I want to give up on the printers that I already have, but I can't shake the feeling that I ruined the printers that I already spent way too much money on. And if I do decide to buy new printers I have other monetary priorities I need to take care of before something as so obscure as 3D printers (such as insurance or tires for my car)

I found out that I'm not going to jury duty tomorrow, I'm on the jury pool for the month, and they haven't called up any jury for the month so far so I'm hoping that I wont be called up next week, but the next reporting date is also a Tuesday and as I'm off Tuesdays I'm not too worried about showing up that day, I'm just worried about being selected for the service and missing work for jury duty.

This post was supposed to be about the first day of spring, um oops. I am looking forward to the change of seasons. Kansas in the spring has really kind of exciting weather (or at least it's supposed to) I'm just glad to be past the freezing temperatures of winter (or at least it's supposed to)
