I just kind of sat here at the computer counting down the time until I had to go to work. I worked Noon to Nine closing the Customer Service Desk instead of the normal 11a-8pm Supervisor shift that I usually do. I drank an entire pot of coffee, but I'm just sitting here zoned out. I had thought a couple of times that I need to get a plan together for what I'm going to cook on Tuesday for the weekly lunch. But then I zone back out. First half of the day went really smoothly. Not sure if I should write this down. This is being logged at lunch. I worked a 3:5 split so I went to lunch at 3pm and will have to work 4 to 9. The challenge of the first half of today was that I wasn't supervisor I was s...

Keto Day 1
Sober Month 5 (Day 153)

Had spaghetti last night so resetting the Keto Count. Got distracted by Oblivion last night so I didn't get around to posting. Or at least that'll be the excuse that I'll use.

It is nice to be back down to 330 (149.7 kg) Goal is currently at 320 (145.1 kg) but I seem to be back on track now.

I did manage to defrost the freezer and take an inventory yesterday. Frustratingly the freezer is still overfilled. HOW DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING? Yeah, I bought some more Bratwursts, and a Pork Butt cut into steaks. But that's all I bought and it was still a challenge to get everything back into the freezer even with the stuff I got out for the weekly meal plan. I didn't think that I had bought more than the seven lunches and seven dinners that I had gotten out of the freezer. But oh well, at least I don't have to buy much next week as I have enough Bratwursts and Pork Steaks to last several weeks. I also have a roast and some Tilapia in the freezer for next week and I have plenty of ground beef and hamburger patties. Maybe next week when I do grocery shopping I'll just pick up some beef steaks as I won't need much more. At least next week I'll make progress on eliminating some of the overstock in the freezer. It was satisfying to feel that the items in the fridge was cold and hear the fan turn off in the freezer; that had been going for a while.

I decided to try to 100% Oblivion. And the way that I'm going to do that I went to the Wiki and wrote down every single Cave/Mine/Fort etc. And then in the game I'm going to track each one down and clear them all. Oblivion is an open world game so you “Discover” locations by wondering around the map. And enemies do respawn so I'll mark each location as “Cleared” as I go through each dungeon. Writing down each location something that I noticed that was interesting was all of the locations were all ruins. And there are quite a few mines, but they all have rather depressing names such as, “Collapsed Mine”, “Doomed Mine” or “Forsaken Mine” everybody is living in Towns and the only people that are out on the wild are all Bandits and such. It kind of gives a Sad “Fantasy Post-Apocalyptic” feel. The days of the empire are long past.

I was a bit naughty at lunch and had a pack of bratwursts for lunch. That's kind of naughty because they were out of the freezer and not a part of the meal plan that I had made yesterday.

I came across a video talking about the 1999 Bridge Creek-Moore Tornado. It will be fascinating to look up the physics of how a tornado works. The video claimed that it was the strongest wind ever recorded on earth. It would be fascinating to see how that is possible. It is kind of crazy to think that a Category 5 Hurricane, the strongest category of Hurricane is only an EF 3 Tornado. err "only" The storms back on Sunday that wiped out Grinnell and Plevna were just recently categorized as EF 3. Praying for those involved there thankfully I'm not seeing any reports of injuries from the storms on Sunday.

The weather here today and yesterday was quite beautiful. And I got a chuckle over the fact that the AC was just fixed and over next week the highest temperature next week will only get up to 74 degrees. Which is what I would leave the AC at anyway. Roommate pointed out that the heater isn't set up yet, we're still waiting for the HVAC guy to text us back on when he's going to finish the heater.
