Keto Day 4
AC guy showed up right after I dropped Roommate off at his appointment he worked all day while I was at work. Roommate had to take public transportation to get home. When Roommate got back home the guy had left, but he had left a small generator hooked up to the AC unit outside. He did come back to continue working on it. I'm a little disappointed that it wasn't done by lunch. But hey, done well is better than done fast. He got the AC working, but he'll come back next week to finish some work on the Heater. I don't think that we'll have to worry too much about the heater working or not. He's also going to install a digital thermostat
When I first got to work I felt really energized. Not sure if it's because I'm back on the diet and have more “Keto Energy” or if I was relieved because the AC was getting fixed. The energized feeling didn't last very long, but I didn't feel all that down.
At lunch the keyboard was acting a bit weird. If I typed too quickly it'll skip the spaces, and some of the keys seem to be sticking or unresponsive. Not sure what's going on there. The computer mouse has been less than stellar lately and I've been thinking about getting a new one of those anyway and Amazon and Walmart does sell Keyboard and mouse combinations. So I might just go ahead and pick up the bundle. Unfortunately most of them look like they're wireless. I'm not opposed to the idea of them being wireless it's just if they have batteries; that's just one more consumable to consider.
I had some Big Mac Casserole for lunch with a bit of extra cheese and a little bit of mustard. I actually had a double serving as the servings are a bit small on that recipe. I had some really pickley burps for a while after lunch. I had some Unsweetened Tea at lunch. I had some Cases of Seltzer sitting here next to my desk, but those are all flavored. I'll drink those in the evening after work, but I'll try to avoid those during the day until I am confident that the sweeteners/Artificial flavorings aren't hurting my feet.
I fought the temptation of energy drinks today as I am trying to see if avoiding drinks with flavorings would help with the foot pain. I did pick up a can of Coconut water which wasn't quite as entertaining as Powerade or Red Bull (not sponsored) the hard part of the struggle there isn't like an addiction. Like a feeling that I HAD to have an energy drink. It was more of the thought that, “Hey, Mark. You haven't had your energy drink yet! Are you going to buy an energy shot now? You haven't had your drink yet.” It's the habit of it. Not that I'm tired or anything, I don't know if I even feel energy drinks anymore. But it's just that I used to do something, and I haven't done that thing yet today.
My feet did start hurting closer to the end of the day, but that was after a day of standing around for almost 9 hours.
The evening really snuck past me after work. I did bake some Swai fillets that I bought on Tuesday. Roommate said he wasn't hungry and let me know that I could eat his half, but they were really filling and I just wasn't hungry after eating my half.
