After the X-Rays, scans, and poking the doctor had determined that the teeth are a complete loss. The only way foreword would be dentures or implants. It's hard to say that they railroaded me into making a decision right away. But the implants sounded like a good idea at the time and they talked about financing and it looked like it was going to be $620/month for 75 months. Then they said that before the first surgery to remove the teeth would require a payment of $11,000 and then after I healed six months later I would have to pay another $11,200 for the implanting of false teeth. Keto Week 1 (Day 12)
Sober Month 1 (Day 51)

Slow start this morning. Didn't have time to make coffee. I am curious as to if there are any other chemicals in Coffee that make you feel good. Sure there is caffeine, but it's not like Coffee is just caffeine and water. That might go onto the Research “To Do List” I was fine when I got to work, but when I got to work I grabbed a can of Sugar Free Monster and I had one at lunch. But later in the evening I was dragging hard. I had an energy shot and a Powerade, and then a Propel. But still by the end of the night I was just no other description, but down.

I also wonder if the “Down” later in the second half of the day was due to lunch.

The left side windshield wiper snapped off yesterday on my way into the store from lunch. I spent the first half of the day debating on when to get the wipers replaced. Before work this morning I managed to get the right side wiper and the stub of the left side wiper off, but I wasn't sure if I should go ahead and do it at lunch. Or wait to try to wake up early tomorrow before work. But I couldn't help but think that driving around with the metal of the wiper arms laying right on the glass of the windshield couldn't be very good for the windshield. I went over to O'Reilly to get a new set. I felt kind of silly after I asked for help putting the new set on as they just literally slipped on and clipped in. They advertise that they install windshield wipers for free. After I installed the one I did as he did the other one I would have been kind of been irritated if he would have charged me.

But as I had ran to do that errand at lunch I just went back to the store to have lunch there. I wanted to stick to the diet so I picked up some Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Sausages. And some Queso Flavored Pork Rinds. I'm wondering if I'm feeling so down after lunch is because I ate processed food for lunch. Or just maybe there are days where I'm just going to be tired.

I have noticed several times over the last couple of weeks my eyes have been really red. They're not itchy or painful. If I don't look in the mirror I wouldn't know that they're red. But I can't help but wonder if it's a sign of something to watch out for.

Guy bought several steaks that were on markdown. Making conversation I pointed out the really good deal that he was getting. And he was buying quite a few. I forgot the prices that he was buying them for but he was getting quite a few rib-eyes for less than half of the base price. He told me that he always likes to buy his steaks like this. I tell him, no doubt, it's a really good price for them. He told me that not only were they a good price, he likes buying the markdown steaks because (he sneered) The Government forces the store to throw the meat away when it just starts getting good so he likes to buy the markdown steaks so he can take them home. He told me that he is going to take them home and leave them in his fridge for a couple of weeks to age them properly. I would like to expand the amount of meat products that I eat, but I don't know about leaving the meat in the fridge for weeks (plural). He chuckled at me accusing me of being one of the “weirdos that cook their meat when it's still red” Yeah, guilty as charged on that one. Sure I'll try new things, but I'm not sure if I'm going to try that one just yet.

They made us turn in our vacation plans for the year. I get that they're wanting everybody to turn in their plans so they could plan around and know what to expect for the year. But it's only February. I don't really have a plan for the rest of the year. And outside of the week I take off for my Birthday, I really don't care. And (to humble-brag a bit) it is kind of hard to pick out five different weeks for time off. But if I don't take the time off I'll lose the time off.
