Weight: 337.2 lbs ( 139.7 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Taco Chili Cheese Curl Chips Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sober Month 10 (Day 301) Dang that was a jump on the scale. I'm thinking about getting back into Keto. I'm not going to jump immediately back into it as I still have several boxes of Hamburger Helper (not sponsored) and some other Non-Keto meals that are going to be the cheaper options. I don't think that I'll start up the Keto Count until Roommate goes back to work, but I am going to try to buy and eat more meat biased meals. I'm just going to have to research some cheaper dinners. Of course I say that and then at lunch I buy some cheese curls The weight is still 13.8 lbs (6.3 kg) down from last year and 8.27 lbs (3.75 kg) down from average, but still it is frustrating that all of that progress over the last couple of months was wiped out so quickly...

Keto Day 1
Sober Month 1 (Day 56)

Today was surprisingly busy for an off day. I was a bit slow to the start. But once I had breakfast I thawed out the freezer. For as dry as my hands have been lately it's surprising how much ice had built up in my freezer. Probably because I keep opening up the freezer. I don't know why I keep opening up and looking into the freezer, I make a meal plan each week. I could have been a bit better on the plan for the last couple of days but there's no reason to open up the freezer and stare like I've been doing.

I decided to get back to the diet today. I did think about waiting for a “good day” to reset. (Wait for Sunday, waiting for an even day on the Sober Day Count, etc.) But like back in December when I decided to start the Sober Count again. If I “waited for the right time” I'd probably miss the day, or find some other excuse to not get back to it.

Every month I get a bunch of trash coupons, they're usually just the snail-mail version of spam. But this month actually had a useful coupon as there was a coupon for Great Clips (not sponsored) I've been wanting to get a hair cut for a while now. Every time I get a haircut I tell myself that I'm not going to wait as long until I get the next one. And then it's six months later and the hair is driving me crazy. Both by looking shaggy as hell and it rubbing on the sides of my face and the back of my neck.

After the haircut I ran by the store for grocery shopping. It's kind of fun to see peoples reaction to the haircut because I always get it cut so short. The cashier asked me if I cut my hair. I said, “No I didn't, I let Great Clips do it” (seriously not sponsored) The CSM was helping bag groceries as it was slow at the desk, she said that she'll never go back to Great Clips because she said that they always cut her bangs too high up. I joked that I have the same problem. But the reason that I like going there they have a history of what you got last time so I can just say, “Give me the same” and they're ready to go. But again at the store I spent WAY, WAY too much on food again this week, but it was mostly on meat, and if I'm doing my math right I won't need to buy anything for the next week or so.

Lunch today was a pack of the Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Sausages. I kinda kicked myself for buying it just because I had a coupon for it. Using a coupon on something you need to buy saves money, using a coupon to buy something is wasting money.

I did run by the bank to ask about changing my savings accounts into the type of accounts that wouldn't have a minimum balance. But the girl at the bank didn't know what the other lady yesterday was talking about as there is more than one type of savings account at the bank, but they all have the minimum balance. There was an option of turning the savings account into a checking account and name it a savings account, but it wouldn't have the benefits of a savings account.

For almost a week they've been freaking out about a “horrific snow storm” that's going to start “tomorrow” it's been “tomorrow” for three days now. Every time I see a forecast on how much we're expecting they're calling for more inches, but a later start time. At this rate we're going to get around 12 feet of snow sometime around July.

It's interesting that the first half of this week has been kind of Italian Themed with Pizza on Sunday, Shrimp Alfredo for Monday last night, and tonight being Tuesday we had Fathead Lasagna (I'm always hesitant on the spelling of that, but I always get it right) I thought about continuing the theme. But that thought really wavered when I was cooking dinner tonight. That would be a lot of work for the rest of the week. The Lasagna came out really soupy. It had good flavor, but it wasn't Lasagna.
