I have cottage cheese and hot dogs one day for lunch, the next day the weight is up. I have a recipe that I have saved for lunch the weight is down. I have Jalapeno cheesy sausages for lunch, the next day the weight is up. It's still among the lowest weigh ins for the year. And I'm still down 10 lbs for the year. I think starting tomorrow I'll start doing the tracking in my phone app again. Maybe start going back to the YMCA on Monday. I wont go tomorrow because with their Sunday hours they are only open while I'm at work. I'm thinking of trying to get into a habit of going into the weight room Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Maybe going to swim on Tuesday...

Keto Day 6
Sober Month 2 (Day 67)

Feet hurt again this morning, but only until I got up and moving around. I felt like I was on peg legs until I got them loosened up.

Weight is up again. A bit nervous about the way that it's been tracking up this week. It's down for the year and it's still below the average of the year. The watch says that Fat is down and Muscle is up, but water is also up. And I've been going to the bathroom a lot again today.

Roommate had a nurse visit this morning. Pretty sure that this is his last home healthcare visit. He seems to be a bit nervous about that fact.

As the roommate's nurse was there I left early for work. It was just a few minutes early, but as I was driving towards the store I noticed that there was a dark cloud to the south. At first I thought it was a dark rain cloud. But then I noticed that it was a pretty small column. The shape of it reminded me of several years ago when I saw a field burning so I thought it might be a farmer burning a field. But from the the size and shape of it I realized that it would have been WAY too close for a farmers field burning, and it looked like it was coming from Downtown. I was a couple of minutes early for work so I drove around for a bit. And I saw a lot of emergency vehicles downtown. I didn't want to get too close because I didn't want to get in the way, and I didn't want to get caught up in between other rubberneckers (wow that's an actual word?!) but I could tell that south Main Street was blocked off. As I drove away trying to figure out what was going on I noticed that there was a train stopped just east of where the emergency vehicles were blocking everything off so I made a guess that it might have been a train derailment. Later in the afternoon the word spread that there was a gas explosion downtown. There was quite a big chunk of the southern end of town that was evacuated because the possible gas leak. Thanking God that there is no reports of any injuries from the explosion or fire. May it continue to be so. But a lot of people are thinking of back in 2001 when there was a natural gas leak from a storage facility that's north of town. Unlikely that they are related, but there is still the thought of it. A lot of stuff has happened since 2001, and I spent the day thinking about that stuff.

The Gatorade is on sale this week. It's still about 20 cents more expensive than the powerade, but I was curious about a new "lightning" flavor. But the flavor I wanted to try didn't have a no carb version so I just grabbed another flavor. The cherry flavor was still nice.

Lunch was nice, Bacon Cheeseburger Soup is a very savory soup.

Had some frustrations working with the teenagers today. One kid is a new hire. She had a hard time figuring out how to ring up peoples digital coupons and how to void off unwanted items. But as I was trying to coach them how to use the register. She kept insisting that she knew what she was doing, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I wanted to tell her, “I've been working here for 23 years, you've been here for four days. I know how to run the register, you don't, and it's my job to help.” And another kid just had a bug up his ass the entire day. He absolutely refused to do anything that I told him to do. I'm going to be talking to management about him tomorrow. I'm going to ask if he has a hearing disability, or if he has a listening disability. Supposedly his father is one of the store managers up at the bigger store at the other end of town, so he has a superiority complex. His daddy being a manager is not relevant to me. If he's there to work, he needs to be doing his job. And I'm his supervisor, his job is to do what I tell him to do.

I was excited to see the State Tax Return was deposited into my checking account today. Kind of surprised to see it deposit on Saturday, but whatever, And checking on the history of deposits, the Federal Return usually comes in a few days later. And when I checked the "Where's My Refund" site the site says I should expect the deposit sometime next week. Which would be fun because I'm planning on paying my bills next week.  When I get my refund I plan on picking up a new 3D printer and a couple of other little things, but most of it is going to go into my savings accounts. Which is a fun thing to say.
