I just kind of sat here at the computer counting down the time until I had to go to work. I worked Noon to Nine closing the Customer Service Desk instead of the normal 11a-8pm Supervisor shift that I usually do. I drank an entire pot of coffee, but I'm just sitting here zoned out. I had thought a couple of times that I need to get a plan together for what I'm going to cook on Tuesday for the weekly lunch. But then I zone back out. First half of the day went really smoothly. Not sure if I should write this down. This is being logged at lunch. I worked a 3:5 split so I went to lunch at 3pm and will have to work 4 to 9. The challenge of the first half of today was that I wasn't supervisor I was s...

Keto Day 0
Sober Month 1 (Day 55)

Grandma was nice enough to give me some money yesterday for taking down her Christmas lights so I ran by the bank to deposit it. And while I was there I transferred money from my savings accounts as I am expecting the rent check to come through this week. The lady at the bank told me that since my savings accounts are below $100 each all three of them are going to have the minimum amount fee. I know, every month they charge my savings accounts $3 each if the balance ever goes below $100 during the month. It kinda sucks, but what can I do, I haven't been able to save up like I've been wanting to. But apparently there's a different kind of savings account that doesn't have a minimum balance. And it's just a bit of paperwork to change the accounts from the type that I have now into the kind that doesn't have a minimum amount. I was kind of shell shocked, how long have I been paying $3 a month for each of my savings accounts? What's the catch with the new accounts? I had to get to work just then, but I was kind of irritated that I've been paying for my savings accounts when I didn't have to.

First half of the day was mostly doing the Annual Safety Re-certification Training. It was really basic simple stuff. “Unplug electrical equipment” “Wear Reflective a Vest in the Parking Lot” kind of stuff. But the stuff they're legally required to say so if anybody gets hurt, they can say that they that they told everybody.

For lunch I was thinking, “Heck, I was bad last night for dinner might as well be bad today.” So I had fried chicken, Pringles, and 20oz Dr Pepper for lunch. Yeah, I spent too much money on lunch.

Hard to think of anything to say about today, sure it was busy because they're expecting it to snow tomorrow, but they've been saying, “Snow tomorrow” for the last couple of days so I think everybody is “panicked out” Or at least they'll be until tomorrow afternoon when they're expecting it to actually start snowing.

In the second half of the day I was getting thirsty so I was going to get a Powerade Zero, but the Zero was sold out, so I got the regular kind of Lemon Lime flavored Powerade. And that taste gave me flashbacks to the middle school locker room. Can't say that I recommend that flavor.

My phone was weird on the battery. It was fully charged when I left the house this morning. But it was at 30% by lunchtime, five hours later. And after lunch it was at 15%, and it was going into low power mode on the way home. So I'm not sure what was going on with that.

And I also spent too much on dinner as I was really wanting some Shrimp Alfredo. Interestingly the shrimp for the Alfredo would have been cheaper than the Canned Chicken that I normally would have had in it. So I'm not sure what's going on with that. There was also a mistake lottery ticket at the desk so I thought I'd go ahead and try my luck.
