Sober Year 1 (Day 511)
Keto Month 2 (Day 74) (124/365 Days 2026 Keto)

Wow, now that's going in the right direction. And it's nice that both the scale and waistline is measuring down. Typically lately when the scale is down the waist is up. Happiness is not a number on the scale/tape measure, but it is nice to have progress again. Not quite progress as I'm still up 1.8 lbs for the month, but down 12.9 lbs for the year.

I didn't get around to making the post for Thursday night (Thursnight? hmm) as I did get off of work earlier than I normally would have, but I spent a lot of the evening editing the video that I posted today as I really am wanting to post the Friday Store Stories video on YouTube. Again I doubt that I'll ever get higher than a hobbyist on there, but it is a fun idea. I didn't get the Proverb short uploaded, but that's a lower priority than the Store Story

I worked 9am to 5:30 today. As I worked a little earlier than I normally do I forced myself to get out of bed earlier than I normally would have. As I didn't want to wake up at 8 and then run out of the house to get there at 9. But I really didn't do much before work. It was nice to get up as the sun was still rising. Mom pointed out some of the plants that some of her friends and some Family Members shared with her and in the early sunlight the patio table looked like an inspiration for an amazing oil painting.

Step-Dad was kind enough to cook breakfast this morning. He told me that he was going to pick up some pork loins for me when he did his biweekly grocery run this afternoon which I am immensely grateful for. The garage freezer is still quite full, but I'll never turn down free food. As I had to work earlier than I normally do I didn't have time to cook the bratwursts that I have in the fridge that I've been planning on baking for lunch. Sure I woke up earlier than I normally do, but the timing was thrown off all morning.

I was able to sneak in a minute or two early to grab a feather duster as when I traveled out to Monument Rocks I had the windows open and the inside of the back windshield of the car was coated in dust.

Worked in the Service Desk all day today. I had to take a triple take when I saw that I was stationed to just stand there for the entire day. Sure it's easy money, but it would be nice if I were to actually do anything. I had to deal with a few angry old ladies who were upset that they didn't get the Friday Four Times Fuel Points (not sponsored) they each insisted that they clipped the digital coupon to get their points, and each lady got their phone out to prove that they clipped the digital coupon. And each lady showed that they clipped the digital coupon for extra fuel points for buying gift cards. It's not a big deal to add fuel points at the service desk, but it was quite the ordeal to convince people that they clipped the wrong coupon for what they were wanting to get the deal for as each lady insisted that they didn't buy any gift cards they were trying to get the 4 times points for their groceries.

As I was scheduled to come in earlier than usual I got off earlier than usual. It was nice to get off with some daylight left. When I got home Mom was going to a dinner gathering with Grandma and a Ladies Church Group and Step-Dad grilled a couple of Rib-Eye Steaks for us for dinner. And good lord those steaks were huge! If he had told me that they were roasts I would have believed him.
