I have cottage cheese and hot dogs one day for lunch, the next day the weight is up. I have a recipe that I have saved for lunch the weight is down. I have Jalapeno cheesy sausages for lunch, the next day the weight is up. It's still among the lowest weigh ins for the year. And I'm still down 10 lbs for the year. I think starting tomorrow I'll start doing the tracking in my phone app again. Maybe start going back to the YMCA on Monday. I wont go tomorrow because with their Sunday hours they are only open while I'm at work. I'm thinking of trying to get into a habit of going into the weight room Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Maybe going to swim on Tuesday...

Spent all morning waiting for the delivery of the smart watch that I ordered last week. The site said that it'd be delivered between 8am and noon. And I woke up about 10. (Stayed up quite a bit later than I should have last night.) So I spent the first couple of the hours of the day staring at the front door, singing The Marvelettes. At noon it still wasn't here I refreshed the package tracking site and it said that it'd be here between 11:45 and 12:45. So naturally it got here at 12:45, after me staring at the door some more. I don't know why I'm so eagerly waiting packages when they are due in, I'm sure it would have been fine sitting in the mail box. And it took several hours for the watch to charge the battery and to update the software on it anyway so I didn't have to have it the moment it arrived. I do this whenever I'm expecting a delivery. Hopefully now that it is here the second payment for the watch will drop off of my checking account. Was kind of scared for a second when I tried to put it on. It seems to be a bit small for me. It only fits at the very last notch on the band, and it still seems a bit tight. I ordered a new wrist band for the watch, but a little more than annoyed that I spent $75 on a new watch, and then had to buy a $17 wristband for it to fight right. The amazon site says that the watch is water resistant to up to 10 meters (134 feet), but I think I'm still going to take it off when showering or doing dishes. At least for a while anyway.

Baked some Ribs for lunch/Dinner. I used a dry rub that I used in a video a while ago. The video that I made the recipe of was for a Instant Pot, and I'm thinking that I should have used the Instant Pot instead of baking the ribs. It was a long three hours that it took them to bake and it would have only took 45 minutes in the instant pot. This rack of ribs did seem to come out a bit tough; out of the instant pot you almost needed a spoon to eat the meat off of the ribs, but that might just have been this particular rack of ribs.

The ribs I ate today are a rack of St. Louis Style ribs that the store had a digital coupon on last month. And this week there was another digital coupon for the ribs for the same price. I was debating whither or not to pick up another five racks of ribs. (Digital Coupons have a limit of 5) But I did decide to pick up the ribs because the coupon price is 60% off of the original price and it was kind of funny to put some ribs in the oven and go to the store to pick up some more ribs. There was a digital coupon on bacon as well which was handy because I used the last of my bacon this morning. But even with the digital coupons I spent WAY too much on groceries this week. But that's what I get for just running to the store with a half-assed plan. I knew I was going to get ribs and bacon, but I also grabbed a couple of 5lb rolls of ground beef because I saw a sign for it, I needed some shampoo and shaving cream so I picked some up, and I grabbed some other things as well. Lately I've been using the calculator app on my phone to add up the price of items as I pick them up while I shop, but today I didn't bother doing that and had a bit of sticker shock when I got to the register. I was hoping for a grocery bill closer to $100, but it was just under $180. But I really didn't buy anything that I couldn't use. Well, other than the case of beer that I picked up. I really, really didn't need that. But it was only 20 something dollars. And at least the freezer is full of meat for a while.
