And I don't know if I used up all of my creativity in that video or what but now at my lunch break when I'm starting to write out the daily blog I'm hitting a bit of a writers block. There are quite a few strings that I kind of grasp at that would be a good idea to write down, but they keep evaporating before I get the idea formed. This is a bit disconcerting considering that I was planning on working the General Update video this evening after work. The General Update video is a video that I want to release the first Monday of the month, but I work all day tomorrow and there's a

The first half of the day went just fine and smooth for those five hours, but when I came back for the remaining three hours people had just went bonkers. I think people had realized that it was a holiday weekend and they hadn't planed on anything after the weekend so they had to catch up. And I have a theory that the more people in an area, the dumber the individual person in the area and people were reinforcing that theory. Had nachos for dinner last night because I was really in the mood for some comfort food. But the corn chips I picked up were “Guacamole” flavored. But were just a nasty sour salt flavor. I do like very salty corn chips, but these had a really sour flavor.      Paid the natural gas and electricity bills today. There is an option to pay t

This is one of the benefits of the meal planning that I want to be doing. Sure there are a lot of dishes to do once or twice a week, but for most of the rest of the week all you need to do is rinse off the bowl or plate you ate lunch or dinner in/on.      Had hot dogs for lunch. I was out of mustard at home so I picked up a bottle of spicy brown mustard. But I put too much on the hot dogs and that stuff was really sour and bitter and kind of made lunch that particular flavo

It's really important to get that thing done before I get ready for work. Whatever I do I need to get that one thing done before I leave. I have no idea what that thing is. I just can't shake the feeling that there's something important that I need to be doing.      Yesterday I was enjoying the weather and opened up the windows and turned off the heater. When I went to bed last night I forgot to close the windows so it was a bit chilly in the house this morning. It smelled really nice, a fog had rolled in last night so there was a very spring smell throughout the house. I thought about closing the windows and turning the heater back on, but the fresh air was nice. I act

Let's go get pizza!      I have plenty of eggs, but I am out of bacon. This is sad, this makes me sad. (joke) When I bought the eggs I had got the big 60 pack of eggs and I got two of the big things of bacon. And the container of eggs lasted longer than the bacon. I chose to eat the cottage cheese that I bought yesterday for lunch. A lot of people on Keto skip breakfast, but I feel if I were to try that off the cuff I'd be obsessing over food for the rest of the day. I will probably still be doing that since today's breakfast was so different from normal. And I didn't get coffee started this morning before work, so I guess how that'll effect me as well.      Came home for lunch. I had forgotten my phone at home

I did run to the store to grab some more cream for my coffee. I did catch myself staring at the beer cooler. I noticed that one of the beers had a tagline on it that read, “The only one with beer in it” Kind of makes me wonder what the other ones have in them. I picked up some cheddar bratwursts because it was strange to go to the store for just one thing. But that's what I should have done I didn't need to spend money on bratwursts.      I uploaded The General Update video that I would like to do on the first Monday of every month. I do realize that today is Tuesday and I want to have Tuesdays to be recipe videos. But I figured since I missed the video yesterday I'll just made the general update video today. I was going to wor

I hear a lot of people online to not to do a daily weigh in because whenever it is up you'll drive yourself mad trying to figure out the reason that it is up. I'm going to guess that the reason is that I'm still processing the case of beer that I drank on Tuesday. But I'm trying to take the couple of days of ups too seriously, I don't plan on drinking any more beer, and I've made a lot of progress this year. So if I get bummed out by the day to day weigh in I'll look at the spreadsheet of the whole year. (I have a lot of spreadsheets) But looking at the spreadsheet for the year Feb

Sure it might have been Keto (well, I'll have to look at the canned soup and packet of soup mix to make sure) but that was a couple pounds of meat that I ate last night that's now probably sitting in my gut. Writing that out it kind of looks like I said, “Oh no, I ate and now I weigh more, I need to stop eating!” But that's not really what I'm saying. The main frustration that I'm feeling about eating that entire roast last night is that it was what I was planning to have for lunch today. I have all kinds of food in my fridge that I can have for lunch, but I have a bad habit of cooking a recipe and then eating all of that recipe in one go and not

Frustratingly it's already all spent. But at least the car insurance is paid, I have new shoes, and the Fresh Start loan on my checking account is paid off. I did order a new smart watch. That could be seen as a frivolous purchase. But at least I was able to buy something for myself. I spent the tax money so fast, I should probably register as a Democrat. To be balanced I should tell a joke making fun of the Republicans, but they make enough of a joke by themselves.      It was the day before an expected snowstorm, so it was pretty active at work. But nothing worth talking about happened at work. There was a moment when there was a line at self checkout and people demanded that we open

And that's just switching from diet soda and sparkling water to coffee and tap water. Oh and getting the hell away from beer. Even the “”Low Carb”” stuff. I think my body is getting used to the extra water that I'm drinking, or I got most of that water weight out. Woke up with a bit of a headache and stiff muscles this morning, but it went away as I got up and moving. Wondering if it's more “Keto Flu” or maybe time to invest in a new bedding. The box springs is kind of broken down. Or maybe it's because I'm 36 years old and that's just what mornings are like for someone in their mid 30's      Tried a new flavor of coffee, I usually buy the “Breakfast Blend” w

It kind of feels like my mouth and throat is dissolving, but in a good way. It's kind of like when cotton candy dissolving      Something strange is going on at the high school next door. It sounds like a jet engine is revving up. Maybe one of their industrial sized heaters was broken and they just turned it back on. But it kind of sounded like the building was about to take off.      Not sure what's going on with weight. Yeah, there's going to be daily fluctuations, but it's strange to be up 4 lbs (1.8 kg) in a single day. The weight is still down for the year, and lower than the average weight for la

It was reading 325 ( 147.4 kg)! but the reader was flickering a lot. Losing 6lbs (2.7 kg) over night would be exciting, but it's more likely that there's something up with the scale. So I decided to check under the scale to make sure that it wasn't sitting on anything. Strangely enough there was a bit of a tortilla chip lodged in one of the feet of the scale. That would explain why the scale was acting strange. The real question is where the heck that chip came from. I haven't had nachos in months. Maybe God is telling me that I really need to get off my butt and get this house cleaned up. Without the mysterious chip the scale read as 329.4 (

I'm technically under my current goal of 330lbs (149.7 kg) But with daily fluctuations I'm not going to call myself past that goal just yet. I went and looked over my YouTube playlist to see when the last time I was under 330 lbs and it was back in early 2019. And going over that playlist it looks like 330 lbs is a long time hurdle for me. But that's just looking at the thumbnails of the videos. Starting out it looks like I was 314.8 (142.8 kg) back in 2014 and it would be nice to get back to that starting weight. I just can't believe that I'm already down 17.4 pounds (6.5 kg) already! I'm sure that this isn't going to be a sustained rate, but good LORD it's a good start to the year.      Not losing much

The price of eggs are starting to become a meme. My sister-in-law had some chickens and I was going to get the guts to ask her if I could buy some eggs from her, but Mom told me that a raccoon got into her chicken coop and enjoyed some “Chicken tartare”      I didn't have to work until 1pm that's two extra hours to get house cleaned up to do another recipe video tomorrow after I get groceries. That is if I ever get up and doing anything. Got most of the dishes done, I'll try to convince myself to finish them when I get home from work. I really do want this to be a weekly series, but I just can't seem to get around to doing it. Weekly Weigh Ins really aren't that hard, it's just a matter of getting out of bed before I have to get running for work.      It looks like the two nights that I ate spaghetti led to quite a bit of weight increase three and half pounds in two days as apposed to the loss of an average of nearly a pound per day for must of the days this week so naturally I picked up a box of mac and cheese on the way home this evening.      The plan this evening was going to be cook dinner proper; a pork steak, and an impromptu box of mac and cheese that I decided to pick up for no reason, and while those cook I was going to start up the Instan

But that might have been the 2L of diet soda I had before bed. I had a headache, it wasn't splitting or overly agonizing. It was just very distracting. As I was flopping around I looked up some of the withdraw symptoms of some of the things I'm trying to quit. And fun fact. Both Alcohol and Carbohydrate withdraw include disrupted sleep and headaches. (A bit unfair that both of the addictions that I wish to fight have so many of the same symptoms) But again I'm not sure if the trouble getting to sleep was various withdraws, or a 2L of soda right before bed. And the headache might have been the withdraws or because of dehydration because the only think

Breakfast: X Lunch: Hot Dogs Dinner: Leftover Pork Steak Soda: Sparkling Water, 2L Big K Diet Soda      Great weigh in this morning. This put me into an AMAZING mood. I was actually singing and dancing around and I was even randomly braking out into giggling fits...And then I got to work.      That was a mood switch so strong I should have been wearing a neck-brace. I took too long making the weekly weigh in video to get breakfast cooked so I just went into work a few minutes early and when I got there the customer service manager was on her lunch break, she said that I was in for an interesting day. As it was New Years Day and also Sunday I asked her if people were trying to buying a lot of beer. (As we can't sell beer on Sunday) She seemed a bit confused by my question. She said, no. We had one person not show up, two people call in sick and one person that had quit a week ago and no one h

Work was okay, we actually had everyone show up today. Still understaffed like crazy. Was oddly crazy busy. I don't know why it's been so busy this last week or so. The only thing that I can think of is that now that autumn is in full swing the sun is starting to do down earlier and when people see the sun going down they freak out and run to the store. Even though the store is open till 10 every night. But that's just how people think/act. I know that the Mac and cheese is about the opposite for the Keto diet that I keep saying that I want to be doing. But I was planning on using some boneless chicken thighs that I had left over from the last t

The microwave didn't do the steak very many favors. It tasted good, but it was all kinds of dried out. I now have bits of meat stuck in my teeth      I think I figured out the source of these damn flies. And probably why my kitchen smells like rancid pee. A week or so ago I made a rack of ribs in the Instant Pot and I'm just now getting around to doing the dishes; I really need to do dishes a lot more often. This once a week or waiting until all of the forks and plates are used up really is just breeding flies and bad smells.      But that leads to the question of when am I going

It was a bit of a roller coaster. Started off a bit frustrated that I haven't made a “weekly” weigh in video, but the coffee started kicking in and then I stated getting all hopeful. I talk a bit about my financial problems. I am going to get a fresh start loan tomorrow and I'm thinking of using this occasion for a bit of a “soft reboot” for my life. I keep thinking about what would have happened if it were more than just my phone breaking. I was able to upload a weight loss video didn't get around to uploading it until I got home from work. Grilled up a couple of pork steaks for dinner because I still haven't made a meal plan for the week. I don't work until late tomorrow afternoon and I slept a lot better last night
