But it's still lower than most of the month so far. I'm guessing that the weight jump today was because of how much seltzer that I drank last night as I was really quite thirsty.  Breakfast was a pork steak and eggs. It wasn't a very big steak, why I chose to have it for breakfast instead of dinner. It was a strangely shaped steak so parts of it was burning while some other parts were nearly still raw. It still worked. I do have to say that the eggs cooked in beef drippings is considerably better than in the pork, but still not bad.  I wasn't very productive at work today. A ...

Keto Day 6
Sober Month 3 (Day 101)

YMCA: No

Today was up in weight, but fluctuations happen. A little annoyed that yesterday matched the record low for the year, but today was up two pounds (one kilogram) and with the very few days left in the month I'll unlikely match that low level again before the next month. That's just something for Vitamin P. Still making amazing progress this month.

I noticed that a shirt that was really kind of tight a couple of weeks ago was fitting a lot more loosely today. The waist hasn't dropped by a whole lot over the month, but I do wonder if the gut is changing shape in other ways.

really having a hard time thinking of something to talk about today. It was an abnormally normal day. Some people complained about the wind, but it's Kansas. It's going to be windy.

There was a moment right before I clocked in an elderly carryout lady was in the break room and she was surrounded with apple play cards. She was talking to someone on speaker phone. She claimed that it was her “cousin” But the person on the line was...obvi...ously...pre...tend..ing...that..the line was... before saying that she had to buy another gift card. I tried to tell the carryout lady that it was looking a lot like she was getting scammed. But she insisted that she was “Way too smart to fall for those dumb things” And her cousin was needing money to pay off her cars taxes. I told her that nobody is paying their tags with Apple pay cards. Apparently I just don't know what I'm talking about. You know? A lot of people make it feel sorry for people. I didn't see her buying any more gift cards today, but if I would have seen her buying any I would have refused the sale. Making sure that people aren't falling for scams is one of our responsibilities as cashier

Right as lunch was approaching I was SERIOUSLY craving fried chicken and chips. I did buy some Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Sausages (not sponsored) and a can of mixed nuts. It kept me from buying the fried chicken that I was wanting. That and the thought of the last several times that I got the deli's fried chicken it was really dried out and crunchy (not in the good way)

I was kicking myself on the way back to work because I forgot to set up the slow cooker I have a couple of things that I could set up for dinner, but most of them would be only cooked in the slow cooker. It kind of hurt to buy the rib eyes, but they were the only thing that looked like they'd be big enough to be satisfying. I could have gotten the stuff to make something with the ground beef. But throwing the steaks in the oven after work seemed like the best plan. I thought about looking up a "Keto Hamburger Helper" but they just looked like work.
