I actually moved my scale around to make sure that there wasn't anything underneath it. The watch scan says that there was a pretty big drop in muscle, but there was also a big drop in water weight. Which makes since because of the last couple of days. But the scan says that fat is up a little On the way home from the hospital with Roommate I happened to drive by where the new YMCA is going to be and wow that is going to be huge. Roommate was surprised that I cared because he thought that I had quit going. And it wasn't that I had given up on the idea of going to the Y it's just that I was waiting for him to go back to work. He asked me why h...

Keto Week 1 (Day 13)
Sober Month 2 (Day 74)

Really good trend on the weight loss. A little annoyed by the waist being up an inch for the day. As today is the first of the month it kind of throws off the average for the month. I got into a bit of a rant that went on for a bit too long that was distracted by the waist being up. But everything is going down. Body water is going up. Again I'm thinking that fat is breaking down into water weight.

I did some rough math and made some goals for the body composition chart according to my phone's app.

It looks like the body muscle weight should be about 71.5 lbs (32.4 kg) I'm currently at 103.3 lbs (46.9 kg) But I'm not sure if having too much muscle is a bad thing though.

It looks like the Fat Weight should be around 32 lbs (14.5 kg) According to the watch scan I'm currently at 144.8 lbs (65.7 kg) Which wow, that might be a problem.

Body Water Weight goal is 33 lbs (15 kg) And I'm currently at 143.1 lbs (64.9 kg) Which is that all going to be pee? My understanding is that a lot of broken down fat is exhaled as water vapor in the breath. I'm going to research on how water weight leaves the body.

And again I know that these numbers that the watch is giving has to be estimates because the totals that the watch is giving is adding up to 391.2 lbs (177.4 kg) And the sale said I was at 340.4 lbs (154.4 kg)

The phrase, “Sure it is kind of expensive now, but at least I'm not having to pay for that every day.” is going to be the bane of my existence.

Tax return comes in, I pay car insurance. “”
I go ahead and buy a printer “”
I used up the last of my bacon this morning “”
I noticed that the bottle of
Ibuprofen on my desk is expired “”
I'm at a half of a tank of gas in my car, it should get me until Thursday “”

There was a couple of days that all I bought was some Powerade, but it would be nice if I could go more than two or three days without something that, "sure it is expensive now, but I'm not paying for that everyday." I guess that is kind of how life works.

I have to say that running the self checkout has become a bit more...tolerable since I've become sober. I was scheduled to run it for four hours again today. And I have to say that I was enjoying myself a lot more than I usually do when I'm running the SCO. Yesterday was a bit of a challenge because I was running it for three hours and had a trainee that seemed to have a hard time paying attention to the world around them. But today it went pretty smoothly. I made that note on my phone half way through the first half. And then the swarm came in. A lady refused to ring up her gallon of milk and I had to call a manager to convince her that it wasn't paid for. And a guy came through with a MASSIVE cart that was mostly WIC items. And when some of the items weren't covered by his benefits he started throwing a tantrum. I'm sorry, but it is kind of a sore spot of mine when people complain about things not being covered by their benefits (SNAP,WIC, etc) I'm sorry, but you're complaining about stuff you get FOR FREE. I am of the opinion that it's pretty bad manors to complain about the stuff you're getting FOR FREE. If you don't like THE FREE STUFF maybe get a job and buy stuff for yourself. That might be an ignorant viewpoint, but it's the one I have.

Lunch was a serving of the Southwestern Detox Soup. I have to say that this serving tasted a lot better than the one I had last time I had a serving of that soup. Because the last time I had some it had been left in the fridge for a while. It's not a bad soup. But a week or two, even in the vacuum seal bag, is a bit too long in the fridge. I was annoyed on the way back from lunch because I had realized as I was walking into the store that I had forgotten to put the chuck roast into the slow cooker. I picked up some chuck steaks after work, and again “” I'll try to remember to put the roast in the cooker tomorrow.

Update on the printer because I think the little rant that I did yesterday got things moving. (maybe I just need to have some faith.) It actually did ship out this morning. I had to laugh at it though. I had ordered the shirts, oven gloves, and printer all in one order. The shirts and gloves came in yesterday and I noticed that they had shipped from Oklahoma City. I was frustrated that it looked like the printer was going to be delayed, but there really is no hurry on it. But today I saw that the printer had shipped. I figured, "fine I wonder it was coming from" It's coming from...Oklahoma City. They could ship the gloves and shirts early...but I have to wait for the printer? Seems a bit inefficient. They could have shipped all of the items together. Either delivering them all early, or all "on time" on the original estimated delivery date. Oh well, at least I'm going to get everything more or less on time. I'm kind of surprised to see that it was in Wichita already this evening. It would be convenient it's delivered in the morning before I go to work. But Roommate will be here all day if it does come in while I'm at work.
