Keto Week 2 (Day

Sober Month 2 (Day 77)
I did laundry today so not much happened. I didn't have time to take inventory. So I didn't make a meal plan for the week. Had a late lunch because I was at Mom's house doing laundry. More often than not I would have had lunch at Mom's house while the laundry is going, however I had bacon and eggs right before I went to her house.
I had leftover bratwursts for lunch because Roommate didn't eat his half of them last night after I baked the set of them last night. And he didn't want them this afternoon. He had gotten a rather upsetting call from his, er, former trucking company. I figured if he didn't want them I'll go ahead and finish them off. That feels rough writing that out like that, but I don't know how else to do so. (And I'm kind of in a hurry to post this)
I don't know if me doing laundry at Mom's house gave him the idea or if it was just coincidence but he decided to go to the laundromat this evening. So I did the grocery shopping while he did laundry.
While I was setting up the Pizza Soup he suggested watching the movie “Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim” and wow, that movie was...rough. It was an animated movie. The animation was quite good, but the writing was...wow. It was the story of Helm Hammerhand one of the more badass Kings of Rohan. But it was told from the point of view of his daughter. I am not a writer so I shouldn't judge, but if I can pick out your movie's plot holes and contrivances that's a bad sign. And there were way too many points of Fan Service that didn't make sense.
posting late because of watching the movie made me lose track of time. I debated posting at all, but I think it would make my Mom nervous.
The pizza soup was one of the great recipes for the slow cooker. Mostly just put everything in the cooker and set a timer. I did have to brown the sausage, but that's countered by the shorter cook time. It only takes 2-3 hours on high or 4-5 hours on low. While I was finishing cooking it and eating it I couldn't figure out why it looked so different from the thumbnail of the video that I made of it back in 2023. But when I watched the video I remembered that forgot to put the cream cheese in. It still turned out okay, but I guess it would have been a bit creamier with the extra dairy in it. It still turned out okay though.
That wind out there has been going bananas all day today. I saw some video clips of semi trucks out west getting knocked over by the wind. And there was a Facebook post saying that there was one tipped over south of town. And I've been seeing reports of power loss around the state. Luckily it's still on here. I know that I won't have to worry about freezing to death, but I would rather if it didn't go out.
