I legitimately cannot remember what happened today. It might be a short post as when I got home I did dishes, but some bratwursts in the oven and my brain went blank.
I noticed that the weight is up quite a bit from yesterday. I'm not sure if that's because of the scale glitching like it has been doing. It did do that a bit when I first woke up, but it did finally give me a consistent number. Not a number that I like very much, but hey, that's the number that it is. And the waist line is up as well. But still under average.
Breakfast was steak and eggs. I had the pan a bit too warm so it got a bit smokey in the house this morning. Strangely the pan was too hot and smokey, but it still took a while to cook the steak. I'm too tired to type out the reasons, but I have a couple of guesses on how that could happen.
At lunch I grabbed a pack of hot dogs to go in with the Cordon Bleu Soup. I keep telling myself that is going to be a good combination, but it never really sits right. And the combination was a bit too big for the bowl that I was using.
Not much happened at work, it was the Supervisors Curse. A boring day is a good day because that means that nothing is going bad. But wow does it get boring. The frustrating thing is that when I was on vacation last week I was actually doing things. Not very productive things for the most part. But at least I was doing something. At work I'm mostly just waiting for the day to finish.
After work I picked up a roll of masking tape because that is what it looks like people use to hold their 3D printed models together as they use a soldering iron to weld the parts together. Unfortunately the tape seems to want to stick itself more than it does to the model that I've printed off. I grabbed some duct tape that I have at home and that is holding with the couple of pieces that I've tested so far. I haven't used the soldering iron yet. I had bought it back in 2020 and it's still in its original packaging I'm sure it still going to work. I'm going to wait until I have a new respirator before doing the part welding. I've seen quite a few people warning that you're wanting to do that in a well ventilated area with adequate breathing protection as you're basically melting the plastic to fuse the parts together. And you really don't want to have a lung full of that PLA vapor.
