But still down for the month and amazing progress for the year. The bacon was looking a bit rough when I cooked it this morning. It was just kind of gray while it cooked. I don't know if it's going bad on me, but I'm hoping it can stick it out until Tuesday. I did get around to getting the guts to share my opinion on what is probably going to happen when/if President Trump gets his way with the tariffs  Amazing weather outside today. It was nice enough to open up the windows and turn off the heater. When I came home for lunch Roommate was taking a nap, but I heard a strange banging coming from upstairs. It sounded like he kept slamming his door. But then I remembered that I had my wind...

Today was Mom's Birthday, and I couldn't help but think of her all day with how nice it was outside. I think it got all of the way up to 81 degrees (27 c) outside. Nice warm sunny spring day. (Even though spring starts next week.)

Heh, you can tell if it was a boring day if I start talking about the weather. Really not much happened today. I'm going to keep the windows open for another couple of days as it looks like it's going to stay warm for a couple of days. It does look like it's going to get a bit chilly this weekend.

Today was another day where I was really tired. I'm going to blame the weather. It was so nice and warm I just wanted to lay down and take a nap. Maybe it was because I didn't have a pot of coffee before work this morning.

I was kind of too tired to go home for lunch so I just sat at the store and had some of the Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Sausages. I chose the sausages because I noticed that there was a digital coupon on them. But I forgot to clip it so I paid the regular sales price for them. And it really isn't enough to raise a stink about. But I do have to wonder how much of their profit strategy is to convince people to buy something and people just forget to clip the coupon. Or don't realize that they have to clip it and then don't go back to do anything about it.

Still having frustrations with the printer not wanting to work. I think I'm going to give it a couple days before poking at it any more. I was getting too agitated at it. I would like to make progress on the projects that I want to print with it. But not if I have to get that heated about it.

Another frustration was that I saw a “wireless charging” plate at the store while at work. I thought it would be kind of neat to have one where I could just have it on the desk and let my phone charge without wrangling with the plug. Again, not much of a frustration, but just laying the phone on the charger is a bit easier than trying getting the plug in. But unfortunately the charging plate doesn't seem to work with my phone or my watch. I'll bring it with me when I go back to work tomorrow to get a refund.

A little while ago I was feeling nostalgic for a game called Oblivion. It one of the precursor games to Skyrim. Skyrim the fifth game of the Elder Scrolls series. Oblivion is the fourth. It is fascinating that Oblivion came out in 2006, Skyrim came out in 2011. But since then all of their games in that series have been spin off games and re-releasing Skyrim, and re-releasing Skyrim, and re-releasing Skyrim. The number of times they've re-released Skyrim, and re-released Skyrim, and re-released Skyrim has become a bit of a meme. And it was fun that it was on sale. I looked at the cost last week and the Game of the Year edition was about $20. But it was on sale for $5 this evening. Thank you Steam Sales. I haven't started the game yet and I'm kind of nervous to do so as I haven't played it in nearly 20 years. I'm not sure how well it's aged. And I'm kind of too tired to start an epic fantasy adventure.

Cooking dinner took a while. I was going to cook the pork steaks that I got out of the freezer yesterday when I made the meal plan. However one of the steaks was sitting by itself and it had thawed out, but the other was sitting under a pile of the planned lunches so that one was still half frozen. It didn't seem like a good idea to bake one thawed steak and one frozen steak at the same time so I got two pork steaks out of the freezer and baked those. Which took a while even at 400 (204 c).

I did go ahead and set an alarm for tomorrow morning because I really do want to get into the habit of waking up early. So at that I'll go ahead and pack it in.
