Keto Week 2 (Day 20)
Sober Month 2 (Day 81)

YMCA: No

Causation or correlation? I have cottage cheese and hot dogs one day for lunch, the next day the weight is up. I have a recipe that I have saved for lunch the weight is down. I have Jalapeno cheesy sausages for lunch, the next day the weight is up. It's still among the lowest weigh ins for the year. And I'm still down 10 lbs for the year.

I think starting tomorrow I'll start doing the tracking in my phone app again. Maybe start going back to the YMCA on Monday. I wont go tomorrow because with their Sunday hours they are only open while I'm at work. I'm thinking of trying to get into a habit of going into the weight room Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Maybe going to swim on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I don't know if I want to go EVERYDAY because I don't want to get burnt out on going. And it's a good idea to have rest days. But I do want to get in the habit of going because last year when I was going I was losing weight like crazy until I stopped going. But then again when I stopped going to the Y I started drinking again. So was I gaining weight because I had stopped working out? Or because I was drinking a ridiculous amount of beer.

The first half of the day was pretty smooth. But it was one of those days where it would have been quiet, IF EVERYBODY WASN'T YELLING!! All of the customers and fellow associates seem to be freaking out. The lady running Self Checkout had a trainee, but she was distracted and worried because her mother is in the hospital. And she's the kind of person that is constantly screaming my name and asking if she could do her job. She's been running Self Checkout for years but she's constantly screaming at me to ask how to run the machines. The lady running customer service is relatively new so she's not confident doing everything that needs to be done at the desk so I spent two hours before lunch sprinting back and forth from customer service to the self checkout to help them do their jobs. I know that as a supervisor it's my job to help them do their jobs, but it would be nice if they stopped asking for permission to do their jobs. Like yesterday when one of the carryouts asked if the bag of dog food with a hole in it was damaged. She kept asking me if it needed to go back to damaged if it had a hole in it.

For lunch I had a serving of Bacon Cheeseburger Soup. It was still a little frozen when I got it out of the fridge, but the microwave usually thaws it out. I put a slice of pepper jack cheese on top because I thought it would be a good addition. It was strange eating it because the soup was still cold, but the bowl was really hot. And the cheese just congealed on top.

Second half of work started off slow but as soon as the sun started going down people went BANANAS there was just a SWARM of people all with these GIANT orders. I was starting to wonder if there was some kind of event going on that people were stocking up for, or were all at before they came to the store. Something that was strange was that there were people that came up to the desk to break hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The bill recycler received them so the money was all real. It was strange how many people needed their hundreds broken down into 10's and 20's. Who knows maybe we were doing money laundering for drug dealers. Then again IT IS the Saturday of the first full week of the month, a month were a lot of people are getting their tax returns. It would be nice if they would schedule for nuance. Sorry got distracted about whining about work again.

I am proud that I was able to restrain myself from buying anything today. The energy shot that I had was from the six pack that I had picked up earlier this week. I think when I'm done with that pack I'll try to refrain buying any more. After work on the days that I've had a shot I'm just crashing after work.

Last night Roommate said that he was going to cook potatoes and kielbasa for dinner tonight and I was dreading all day and trying to think of a polite way to turn down his cooking. Potatoes really aren't great for the Keto Diet. However his friend in Alaska had talked him into playing D&D with him and his kids over Zoom. So when I got home he asked what I was planning to make for dinner. I think that was his way of asking to get out of cooking. Luckily as I did have the meal plan done the other day I had some bratwursts in the fridge.

I messed around with the program for the 3D printer, unfortunately the Master Chief Helmet that I'm going to be printing is too big to print on the printer that I have. Thankfully the files include a version that is cut up into 8 chunks that could be printed and glued back together. And unfortunately the one chunk that I was poking at this evening has an estimated print time of just under 4 hours. In theory I could just tell the printer to go and then go to bed and when I wake up in the morning it'll be done. But I haven't had this printer long enough to trust it to just go without supervision.

Daylight Savings Time Starts tomorrow morning. But I think I'm already ready for the time change because I've been taking triple glances at the clock surprised it isn't later. So I'm going to go ahead and post this and go to bed.
