Heh, Tuesday is the second day.

I was able to wake up early enough to get breakfast coked and get to the mechanic to get the oil changed. I was kind of nervous as they were expecting me to be there at 9am. And sure I work at the store from time to time at 9am, but there's a difference between being late for work and being late for an appointment. I was a little annoyed that I was five minutes early, but it was 25 minutes into the hour that they finally got the car into the bay. I had them rotate the tires. I had never had this done before because I was worried about additional charges, but as Mom and Step-Dad had bought the tires for me as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago there the tire rotation was free with the oil change.

After getting the oil change/tire rotation I ran by the store to take advantage of the sale on Bratwursts (not sponsored) as I was low on Allergy Medicine and Vitamin D supplements I picked up some of those, and replenished the monsters that I keep in the locker at work. I also came across a Top Sirloin Steak that was on markdown that I grabbed for today's lunch. I spent more than I should have today. But at least the amount that I have in the Checking account is enough for the weekly allowance so when I get paid on Thursday I'll be able to transfer all of the paycheck into savings.

It was a pretty good sized steak. I chose to grill it for lunch. I baked some of the bratwurst forgetting that I am off tomorrow and there really wasn't a need to cook the lunch yet. But they'll be fine for lunch Thursday.

Sat around a lot today. I got the script done for the next store story that I want to work on. But when I went to record it the AC kicked on and I noticed that the phone battery was only at 20% which is not enough to expect to record an entire video.

As I let the phone charge I hung out with Mom on the back patio. It was a really nice day to just sit outside in the breeze. She suggested Hot Dogs for dinner after debating on whether to plant her daisies in the back garden or up by the front in the flower garden she has by the front of the yard.

We also watched a couple of real life murder stories that she watched on streaming. We did glance at each other as more than one suspect were suspects because they were known to enjoy watching murder mystery shows. 

Didn't realize until later in the evening that I forgot to do laundry today. I'll try to remember to do it tomorrow. All day long I've been stunned by the passage of time. It didn't feel like it should have been that late in the day each time I looked at the watch. 

I tried playing Fallout New Vegas this evening. But it had been a while since I've last played that game and I was not having much luck with playing it this evening as all of the monsters that I came across just straight up killed my character and I was low on ammo in all of my guns and the guns and armor were all damaged to almost to breaking. There is a game mechanic as the more you use your weapons they wear out and when you take damage your armor can break. And I guess the last time I was playing my character was just wiped out from everything I was doing. I kind of considered making a new character and starting over again. It has been several months since I've last played the game so perhaps starting over again would be a good idea so I can get back into the flow of the game. This game came out in 2010 and I've played it quite often, but I have yet to finish the story of the game as I keep getting distracted by other things and go a year or so without playing it, and then when I get back to it I can't make any progress in the game. It's not a bad game, it's just I can't seem to find the focus to play through the story. I don't know, maybe that is an indicator that it might not be a very good story.
