And why I didn't consider that goal “beaten” just yet. It is kind of fun to be “frustrated” by a weight of 301.4. The average weight for the year has finally gotten below 2015 so this is the second lowest year by average so far. I was kind of nervous about my schedule for next week. I was on vacation this week so I didn't have any hours and when they released the schedule yesterday it didn't show any hours for next week. But the week after that had hours. I wasn't sure what was going on I reloaded the app several times and checked the website, but that website ...

Sober Year 1 (Day 466)
Keto Week 4 (Day 29) (73/365 Days 2026 Keto)

Had a hard time waking up today. Spent most of the morning fighting the autopilot. I did manage to drink the pot of coffee before work, but even then I was just kind of barely above flat line on brain power.

The Customer Service Manager was telling me about how a lot of people are due to do their yearly re-certifications on their computer training and names and terms were just kind of going through one ear and out through the other. I'm pretty sure that I got most of the people to do most of the training that they were supposed to do (I think). They do have a list so I'm sure that in a week or so they'll release a new list of who still needs to do what.

Had more cashews than I normally would have had because I was really tired and a thought came into my mind telling me that if I ate something I would probably wake up.

Today was a strange day as it was really running busy, but only in bursts. I was supervisor all day long. But I would see something that needed to be put away and the only carryout that was scheduled to work was outside collecting carts and buy the time I got back to the front of the store the line was 10 people deep and people were upset that they had to wait in this “ridiculous” line. Like seriously did you not see the other people walk up with you?

I did upset a lady because there was a sale on the name brand coffee. The coffee is $9.99 for the three day sale (not sponsored) she was upset that on the top part of the self checkout screen it said that the coffee was $16.49. I pointed out that it took off $6.50 lower on the screen. But she didn't want to listen to me explain that the $16.49 minus $6.50 is $9.99. So I went ahead and voided off the coffee and did the price override to ring it up for $9.99 because I didn't feel like arguing with her and I just wanted to look like I was helping her. Then she got upset because the price of the order didn't change. The price didn't change because I changed the price of the coffee from $9.99 to $9.99. She eventually paid and left complaining about, “deceptive pricing”.

When I got home for the night I decided to bake a pork steak for myself. Roommate kept grumbling about the smell of it cooking. I didn't engage with him as I was already wiped out from work and I really didn't want to start an argument. I opened a window and he sarcastically announced, “oh yeah, like that will do anything.” He eventually got up to microwave a can of condensed soup and was screeching about how he hates living here and he hates everything. I really need to have a talk with him. And it took a lot of self control to not just declare “I'm leaving!” and just be done with it. I don't know that might just be the way that conversation will have to go.

I didn't notice until I was posting this, but hey, 4 weeks Keto! In a couple of days that will be an entire month on the Low Carb diet.
