Surprised by the weight this morning. Up 4.7 lbs (2.1 kg) from yesterday. I didn't think that I even ate/drank five pounds worth of anything yesterday.
I was scheduled to work 11am to 7pm today. And strangely I was scheduled to have a half hour lunch today so I didn't have the time to run home to have lunch so I had some of the Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Smoked Sausages (not sponsored)
Interestingly my feet and knees didn't hurt like the last couple of times I had those during the lunch break. And usually when I'm a cashier all day my feet and knees are screaming at me. But tonight the left foot is a bit sore, but I can still stand up and walk around.
I was scheduled to work as a carryout the entire day, but the cashier that was supposed to be 4-7:30 called in sick so I was able to pick up another half an hour and it was kind of nice to just be a cashier for most of the day so I didn't have to worry about running the front end or do much other than ring up the next person.
Today was crazy busy all day long today. I have a feeling that if I were to have been the carryout as I was scheduled to be I would have been on a register all day anyway. It was kind of funny that there was this carryout kid who every time the rush would start to wind down would say, “Where did everyone go? I was so busy, now it's quiet!” And as soon as dude said the “Q” word everybody would swarm back in. People did grumble at me because I was the only register open. And yeah, I was the only checker. The Supervisor was chatting at self checkout, there was only one person in Customer Service, and the carryouts were kids that didn't know how to check. Sorry.
When I got home Roommate wasn't up. He was in his room. As he wasn't awake (or at least out and about) I decided to go ahead and bake some chicken for myself as he doesn't like baked chicken.
Another strange night when I got off of work and several hours just seem to evaporate so I'm kind of rushing to try to get my thoughts together for a post. I baked chicken for 45 minutes, I really didn't time how long it took to eat, did the dishes. And then BAM it's 11:30. Like seriously, what happened to the last four hours?
Oh, and Happy Birthday Mom. Technically tomorrow is her birthday, but I'm posting this close to midnight so she won't see it until tomorrow.
