I did have time to shower and cook breakfast, but didn't have time to have coffee. I was in the desk for most of the day. Which I was glad for as it got quite warm again today. It looks like next week is going to all be in the mid to upper 70's which I'm looking forward to. I'm am VERY over these 100+ degree (38+ C) days. It is kind of fun how the first day of fall is this coming Tuesday and it looks like the weather is on a switch to fall like weather of 77 (25 C) and cloudy for most of the week. It was kind of frustrating working the desk as I'm still training a new guy. I'...

Keto Week 2 (Day 16) (60/365 Days 2026 Keto)

Whoa, 7.4 pounds (3.4 kg) in 4 days. I don't know if that's because of the tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar that I've been putting in the morning coffee, but it is an interesting correlation that after putting vinegar in the coffee I've started dropping weight like crazy. Waist is up a bit, but the gut does feel like it's sagging more in the front. Lowest weight since 2015, and the lowest ever recorded on here. It would be fun to get under the 314.8 lbs that I started at back in 2014. So lowest weight in 10 years.

Got the oil changed today. I was thinking of going to do the grocery shopping after doing that, but while I was waiting on them to do the oil change a technician came out and asked if I wanted him to change these filters along with the oil. I should have asked the the cost of changing the filters, but no I just agreed to have them changed. They knew more about these things than I do and they did have bugs and gunk covering them. I didn't think any more of it until I got the bill...and it was double the price of the regular oil change. That garage's oil change usually costs about $65, but today with the new filters ended up being $124. So, yeah. Didn't have the extra money to get groceries today. Not hurting for money, but don't have enough in the checking account for the Rent to come through and to do grocery shopping today so I'll do the shopping tomorrow with a check as when I write a check on Tuesday it'll come through on Thursday when I get paid.

Finished off the Jambalaya for lunch.

Spent the day panic-cleaning the bathroom. So the good news is that the bathroom is cleaner than it has been in years, and more good news is that Landlord came out fix the issue that I had with it and it was a lot simpler fix than I was afraid it was going to be. But the other side of that is that I spent hours scrapping off caked on crap (pun intended) because Roommate wouldn't do it for himself. I didn't tell Roommate or Landlord about my feelings of frustration that I had spent the better part of eight hours on my day off cleaning up the mess that he crapped out and he spent the day sitting in front of his TV watching YouTube. At least he wasn't screaming at Video Games.

Grilled some cheeseburger patties for dinner. Just as I had started to grill them Landlord said that he was on the way so I had to scarf those patties down really quickly to finish eating dinner before he got here.
