Got distracted by Fallout New Vegas. So won't be able to say much in this post. But good to see the weight finally go in the right direction.
Didn't track time very well this morning so I didn't have time to cook anything for lunch today. So I grabbed some hot dogs, pork rinds, and queso for lunch. I don't know why it took so long for me to try the combination of pork rinds and queso.
There was a crazy lady at the store. She spent about four hours shopping up two whole cart loads of groceries with two little children I feel bad for the kids trapped in the cart with the crazy lady. People were saying that her children were running around throwing stuff into her cart. When she finally went to checkout she spent another hour “organizing” her stuff on the register. When she finally started checking out she had WIC, SNAP, and Debit cards. She insisted that she had degrees in “mathmaticals” so she knew how much exactly the totals should have been and was freaking out as she added and removed items from her order. When she finally did pay she payed with her SNAP card and there was a total after she used her card so she voided items off of the order. The supervisor (not the main supervisor but another lady) told her that she'd pay the remaining total. But since the Food Stamp total changed after she ran her food stamp card the food stamp payment had to be voided and reapplied to the order before she could put any other payment to the order. It does that so the card doesn't pay for anything that isn't covered. The cashier couldn't figure out what the error message meant so I went ahead and voided the Food Stamp payment from the order which freaked out everybody involved. The lady insisted that she was having a panic attack as all of the frozen items were thawing out and the cold items were warming up and she needed to get out of there. The manager was kind of relieved to finally see this lady leave as her children were running around and screaming for the last several hours. The lady insisted that the children were acting out because they had a disability. I'm more of the opinion that they were acting out because they were little kids stuck in a grocery store for several hours. After she left the security guard said that he recognized her from the other store he works at and that's how she shops there as well. There are some unfortunate stereotypes about people who use SNAP and other welfare programs, and it is unfortunate when people reinforce those stereotypes.
The second half of the day I was in the desk for most of the second half. I was supposed to be the PIC from 7 to 8. When I told the manager who was there that I was supposed to be PIC, but I have a bit of overtime so I'll be leaving 15 min early she was a bit confused because she was supposedly there until 9. So yeah, I kind of spent the last 45 min just kind of waiting to go home.
When I got home Mom asked me what I was wanting for dinner. I really didn't want much so I suggested hot dogs. Kind of funny to have hot dogs for lunch and dinner. But I didn't want much. I was really thirsty, probably because of the saltiness of the morning coffee, hot dogs, pork rinds, etc.
Bit after midnight after posting, but whatever.
