The weight being up 3.6 lbs (1.67 kg) and waistline being up 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) kind of settled me on the idea of trying to do the TMAD diet. I did think about adding that to the title. But I'm still not sure if I'll be sticking to it. And Intermittent Fasting Keto Sobriety Blog seems like a convoluted title.
I baked bratwursts for lunch and had the regular coffee, but I skipped the regular bacon and eggs.
I will admit I was seeing some weird flashes this morning. Just out of the corner of my eyes. Not sure if that was because I had skipped breakfast or because I had coffee on an empty stomach. But the flashes were quite distracting. Sometimes they looked like when in a video game the wall textures don't load properly and then snap back into view.
I felt really weak for the first couple of hours of the first half of the day. I don't know if it officially broke the fast, but I did grab some cashews and then some Powerade as I was a carryout for the first half of the day and it was quite warm outside. I did start feeling better after the nuts and drink.
I think it was quite understandable when it came to lunch I was really hungry so I grabbed a container of Cottage Cheese. I really wish I would have picked up some pepper to go into it as the break room pepper shaker is empty.
I did feel better after lunch, but I was standing around a lot as I was in the desk for the entirety of the second half. Looking back it was kind of surprising that there wasn't more Bill Payments and Money Orders. There were some from time to time, but for the most part we just sold lottery tickets. The rest of the store was pretty active. Somebody asked why it was so busy this evening. I speculated that it was the first Monday of the month after a major holiday. After a holiday the store gets busy as people realize that they had spent so much time, energy, and money on party food and now they have to come get real food.
I did have a lady freak out at me as she had put a couple of dollars worth of coins into a self checkout register before trying to use her Food Stamp card. Well with Food Stamps you have to use that before any other form of payment. Supervisor tried to cancel the cash payment, but as computers are stupid it wouldn't let her void out the total of $2.45 as the register had shown the cash payment as a couple of cents at a time so that was how the cash had to be voided a couple of cents at a time. When I got the coin payments all reversed I told the lady to run her Food Stamp card so I could put the cash payment back in. But the lady started freaking out because I didn't hand her the two dollars worth of coins. I couldn't give her the cash because the order was still going on. It took a bit of back and forth to convince her to run her food stamp card so I could put the cash back onto the order.
When I got home I was more mentally tired than physically tired. Step-Dad asked me what I was planning for dinner. Grilling some burger patties sounded good.
After dinner I watched the Monday Night Streamer and I saw one of my hand bell weights sitting on the floor. It did feel good waving it around. I'm pretty sure the other one is in storage. I think I'll look for it tomorrow and try to do some workout with it.
