It really is kind of funny to be frustrated at a weight that's under 310 lbs (140.6 kg) There is a couple strips of bacon left in the fridge, but Step-Dad had told me about some sausage patties in the fridge that I could check out. I have to say that those turned out pretty nice. Nice and crispy. I went to the store to pick up some Pork Butts that were BOGO this week (Not sponsored) I also picked up some chicken thighs that were Buy One Get 2 Free (honestly not sponsored) and some chuck roasts that had digital coupons. Keto Week 1 (Day 12) (15/365 Days 2026 Keto)

Late to work this morning. I was awake and moving around. I had finished breakfast and was watching a video interview on YouTube between Laura Spath and Dr Eric Westman. I noticed that it was 10:08 and I had to work 10 to 7. So I went from just sitting here kind of chilling to running out the door calling the store to tell them I'm on my way. I was glad that I was supervisor and wasn't taking over for somebody's lunch or something.

First half of the day was pretty active. That wind is cold and blustery. It was sunny, but the wind was holding a grudge. There were some times when it was starting to get busy, but the Customer Service Manager really didn't seem to want me to be on a register. It would start to pick up so I would start to jump into the register, but she would catch me and tell me to have the carryout who knew how to check to open up instead or have her come out of the desk to open up so I would stay as the supervisor and have others check for me. But in my opinion it would be better for me to be on a register and have the Carryout be a carryout as if I have the carryout be a cashier; we're basically down a carryout as he's checking so I have to be a carryout instead of supervising. If I'm checking it's essentially fewer people doing the “wrong job” but that's what she was wanting.

I did talk to the Backup Customer Service Manager about what was going on with me not being the Lead Supervisor anymore. Apparently the loud lady at self checkout was wanting to do more than just run self checkout all of the time (seriously I get it) so she was wanting to do more. So I'm not going to lose my “Full Time” status or the position that I have, it's just that I'll be doing more than just being supervisor all of the time. The main thing I was concerned with was losing “full time” I get paid the same no matter where I'm standing, but if I'm not going to get my hours, that's going to be a problem.

I was really tired when I came home for lunch. I was dozing off at the computer when I realized that I had to have started back to work two minutes ago. I did remind myself several times over the day that I need to come up with an idea that I need to come up with a lunch for next week's meal plan. I was thinking that I really want Pizza, but I feel like I've made Pizza Soup not too long ago.

The second half of the day I was scheduled to be a carryout. As it was quite chilly outside I wore the coat that Mom gave me. I freaked out a customer as I started bagging his order because, I “look like a cop” which is strange as the police in my town have a black coat as their uniform winter coat. It doesn't say “Police” anywhere on the coat. And it's not like I was the only person wearing a bright yellow coat. I was the only carryout scheduled this evening so I spent a lot of time outside collecting carts. I was kind of in a loop as I was the only carryout outside collecting carts there wasn't anybody helping people out to bring their carts back in so there were more carts outside. There was a moment when the Backup Customer Service Manager had me watch the desk for her so she could run to the restroom. She told me that she was upset with another guy who works the desk as somebody tried to cash a check, but he only had a photocopy of it and when she refused to cash the check he suggested that he could just “Sign it over to his girlfriend and use her ID" that's not possible either. The customer said that the other guy, "Does it all of the time" yeah, that's not supposed to happen. The Backup Service Manager told me that he also caused a Loss Prevention Issue because "Tech Support" called the store and had him do "some stuff" with the card readers at the service desk. Remember, "Tech Support never calls you, YOU call tech support!"

Baked some bratwursts after work. And after I ate I put some of Mom's lotion on my hands as the back of my hands were really dry from being out in the cold for the last three hours.
