Really kind annoyed that the weight today was almost 4 pounds up from yesterday, but it was 37 lbs down from the last weigh in so that was something. Sober Month 9 (Day 287)

I woke up earlier than Roommate. I was starting to wonder what was going on, but then he said that his appointment was at 9:15am today instead of the usual 8am.

I was quite annoyed at myself after I dropped him off at his appointment. I usually go to do the grocery shopping while he's at his appointment. I had driven all of the way to the big store on the other side of town as it was in the direction of the hospital and I knew that I needed to pick up a new AC Filter. But as soon as I got there I got my phone out and saw that I had forgotten to write the grocery list into the notes app. So I had to run all of the way back home to write down my grocery list. I have the shopping list written up in a spreadsheet and as I come up with the items to buy I write down the price from the website so when I'm doing my shopping I'm not getting surprised as I add it up as I go along. But I had to run all of the way home to get the shopping list and run all of the way back to the store. Roommate was done with his appointment when I was halfway done with my shopping for the week. I probably would have been done and ready to pick him up if I hadn't forgotten my list. The original idea was to get the grocery bill to $75. But that wasn't going to happen with the plan this week. So I was going to try to get it to $100. But the Roommate suggested that we play the Battletech board game scenario that I was planning on doing for a while. And the story that I came up with a story that has a “mysterious chef's roast beef” implied so I thought it would be funny to have a roast in the slow cooker as we were playing that game. So with the AC filter and the Roast the total was $122. So it was $22 more than I was wanting to spend, but $23 less than I usually budget and the amount that I had in the financial program. Also the grocery run this week bought enough to cover this week and next week's dinners. So next week I'll just need to buy something for the lunch plan. And the week after that I'll just need to buy one or two dinners and the lunch. So it is likely that the next two weeks are going to be under $100.

I did do the inventory of the freezer. The meal plan for this week is mostly of the food that I had bought today. I would go over it, but I don't want to spoil it for the readers.

I didn't do much after getting the meal plan figured out. Usually I'd be cooking a lunch for the week. But this week I'm planning on having bologna sandwiches. I didn't even get around to playing any games. I just kind of sat here. I'm really hoping that the rest of the week is going to be a bit more productive.

Dinner tonight was Chicken Alfredo. I'm not sure when the last time I had that, but I figured that since I'm off Keto might as well jump all the way off.
