I didn't have time again to have any coffee. I did have time to cook a couple of the sausage patties and eggs. I don't know if there's a whole lot of time difference in cooking the sausage patties or cooking bacon. But I figured that the sausage was quicker. I only managed to finish eating before I had to run out of the door. I was in the desk for the majority of the day. Sober Month 9 (Day 298)

I did get the dishes done after breakfast. I really need to work on that habit.

First day back to work. It had the curse of the supervisor. It was boring, but boring is good because boring means that nothing is going wrong. But wow was that boring.

My left foot was a whole lot happier when I was on vacation. People kept noting that I had been gone for a while. I was kind of hesitant to tell people that I was on vacation. As inevitably people will ask where I went for vacation. Being facetious I'll just tell people the name of the town that we live in. I'm not sure if they understood what I was saying though because the only response I got was, “Wow, that sounds like fun!”

When breaking for lunch I was really craving some cheesy puffs. They just sounded like they'd go so well with the Taco Chili that I was having for lunch.

I worked a 5/3 split today so the first half was longer than the second half. It was smooth, but it was too busy to take any breaks. The second half was paradoxically “slower” when looking how many customers were in the store. But the people working were the absolute idiots that required constant supervision. I did feel bad for the lady in the bakery. She was filling in from another store and she didn't seem to know where anything was or went. She kept paging management to the bakery, but they had already left. Eventually the security guard came looking for me asking if I knew how to help her. But I'm the FRONT END SUPERVISOR. I've never worked in the bakery. I don't know anything about running bakery.

When I got home my feet were blazing and my knees and ankles kept snapping and popping. Not sure if that's because I'm off of the diet or because I'm back to work. It's been a while since I've had any Ibuprofen because it didn't seem to do anything, but I went ahead and had some this evening as I needed to try something, anything. It did take a bit of the edge off of the pain. the feet were still achy. I'm going to be putting Icy Hot on them when I go to bed (not sponsored)

I had to sit down for a while before I prepared dinner. I was glad that I had a box of Tuna Helper that I could prepare. The great thing about Tuna Helper (not sponsored) is that you just put it all into a skillet and boil it for a while. You don't even have to brown the meat like in the Hamburger Helper. I mixed in a can of peas to make it make a bit more. It was a bit pasty. I only bought the Tuna Helper because it was on sale. It is unfortunate that Cheesy Pasta is the only flavor of Tuna Helper that my store sells.
