Weight: 337.2 lbs ( 139.7 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Taco Chili Cheese Curl Chips Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sober Month 10 (Day 301) Dang that was a jump on the scale. I'm thinking about getting back into Keto. I'm not going to jump immediately back into it as I still have several boxes of Hamburger Helper (not sponsored) and some other Non-Keto meals that are going to be the cheaper options. I don't think that I'll start up the Keto Count until Roommate goes back to work, but I am going to try to buy and eat more meat biased meals. I'm just going to have to research some cheaper dinners. Of course I say that and then at lunch I buy some cheese curls The weight is still 13.8 lbs (6.3 kg) down from last year and 8.27 lbs (3.75 kg) down from average, but still it is frustrating that all of that progress over the last couple of months was wiped out so quickly...

Sober Month 8 (Day 254)
Keto Week 1 (Day 9)

Kind of hitting the ground running today. Working 9:45am to 7pm. So the morning routine was kind of rushed. I only had time to scarf the bacon and eggs and most of one cup of coffee. The funny thing is that the reason that I was supposed to work early was because the Customer Service Management were all supposed to go to a meeting about how they're going to change up all of the lottery stuff. What are they going to do with the lottery? Well that's what they're going to talk about in the meeting. But they rescheduled the meeting and who knows when the meeting is going to be.

I'm a bit bummed that the seltzer that I've been buying all year long that was on sale for $3.99 the sale had ended and it's now $4.79 (not sponsored) Still cheaper than soda, and a hell of a lot cheaper than beer.

Lottery is up to 1.4 Billion, typically when it gets up to that high I'll go ahead and buy a ticket. I think I'm just going to skip it this time around. I never win anything. If I ever get anything back it's the $2 back from the ticket. And even that is exceedingly rare

Kind of nervous about how today's going to play out as today we're having a Senor Discount Day. The last several times they had a Senor Discount Day I happened to be off so I'm not sure of all of the details on how that works. I do know that it is a more or less random event that they just throw at us. And the only reason that I know about it is because I saw a headline on my phone several days ago. So I haven't heard anything from the management about how it works. When I did shopping yesterday I overheard a customer asking about the 10% senor discount, I thought I saw that the headline said 15%. But I don't know the details about it, is it 10% - 15% the entire order? Is it just on store brand items like the employee discount? Is this a regular thing that we're doing? I don't know anything about the details about this event. When will they do it again? They tell us literally nothing about these events. It would be nice if people would except a “I don't know” as an answer to their questions as a lot of times people will just repeat the question again after I tell them that I didn't know the answer to their question.

I possibly saved a lady from being scammed. I was running Self Checkout while Screech was on lunch. The lady running self checkout is a really friendly nice lady, BUT EVERYTHING SHE SAYS SHE HAS TO SCREAM OUT AT 80 DECIBELS. But while I was running the self checkout an older lady came through with an Apple gift card. She was getting frustrated ringing it up as there are two bar codes on the back of gift cards and she kept scanning the wrong one. I was going to step in and help her, but she did figure out how to ring up the gift card. And then she typed in the $500 limit of the gift card. Which is always a red flag. I asked her why she was putting $500 on a gift card. She asked why is was any of my business. Well, protecting people from gift card scams is part of the business. She insisted that her husband is on a cruise and he's stuck in the middle of the ocean and they won't allow him to come home until he gives them money for their games. Yeah, I'm not letting that sale go through. There was another lady with her who was quite younger than the customer and she thanked me for refusing the sale as she was the older lady's caretaker and this was the third store that she had tried to buy hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards. I really hope that she got the same response from the other stores. But that would depend on how much the other stores Self Checkout Cashiers were paying attention. It wasn't until after they had left but I thought it was kind of odd that somebody would call themselves somebody's "caretaker" but not stop them from falling for such an obvious scam. But it might not be something that she's allowed to do. Another thought I didn't have until they had left is that if her husband really is out of the country and being held for ransom in exchange for Apple Gift Cards (unlikely) she really needs to call the police.

It really wasn't that busy the first half, but people were all screaming their heads off. the security guard is constantly following people around chatting with them. Every time I'm trying to explain something to somebody or tell somebody about something here comes Security Guard, “BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH” Interjecting himself into the conversation interrupting me. So five hours of trying to talk over the wall of sound at self checkout and the chatty security guard my head was ringing.

The second half of the day was CRAZY BUSY. The only thing that I could write as a note was that it was "Holy bananas it's crazy busy." It is the first week of the month, there was the after school rush, and the fair is coming this week

Early post, but I can't think of anything more to say.
