Another not very productive day. I was going to start out filling out the map in Minecraft. Roommate had installed a mod that if your character is killed in the game they'll leave behind a tombstone. Without the mod your character will drop all of your stuff which will all disappear if you don't get back to it, but with the tombstone it will hold all of your stuff and give you a pamphlet telling you where your stuff is. It took me a while to get started as I wanted to make a second map and fill out two maps at the same time. But I did get around to starting out and when nighttime fell and monsters were going to start coming out I put up a camp site that's supposed to have the game skip until day when the monsters are supposed to go away. So since I had just changed it to day and it was supposed to be safe I went to the bathroom. When I got back it was showing the death screen. I was really rather upset because it was supposed to be daytime and safe for the character. But no problem it was supposed to drop a tombstone, it had dropped dozens of them while I was trying to dig out The Big Room. But when I got back to where the pamphlet said my stuff was, nothing was there. The two maps, dozens of tools. The camp site, all just gone.
Really kind of hurt the desire to play the game any more.
I decided to play some Oblivion as it's been a while since I made any progress on finishing that game. And I had been watching some videos on that game world's lore.
Didn't do much other than sit here playing video games. I've been telling myself for the last three days, “yeah, I didn't do much today, but I'll totally start cleaning up the house tomorrow.” I have a feeling that I'm going to go back to work next week rather disappointed that my area is still a massive mess.
But hey, three weeks keto.
Finished off the last serving of the AI Chili today for lunch. Supper was a KC strip steak that I baked from frozen because I hadn't yet made a meal plan for the week. I do plan on doing that tomorrow afternoon though. The steak wasn't that great. I think it might have been a mix of cooking it too long at a too high of a temperature.
