There is an interesting pattern of two down days, and then an up day. But I'm not sure if that's an actual pattern, or just happens to be so in the randomness so far. I'm sitting here at the computer thinking that I should be doing something. But whenever I try to think of anything that I'm supposed to be doing my brain just flat lines. I'm sure that I'll be frustrated on Wednesday when I go to work that I didn't get that “one thing” done, but I just can't think of anything that I'm supposed to be doing. I was talking with Chat GPT and it seems to want me to set up a scheduled transfer for a specific amount. I think I like my “Flowing Cu...

Sober Month 8 (Day 263)
Keto Week 2 (Day 18)

Disappointing jump in the weight this morning. But it's still lower than most of the month so far. I'm guessing that the weight jump today was because of how much seltzer that I drank last night as I was really quite thirsty.
Breakfast was a pork steak and eggs. It wasn't a very big steak, why I chose to have it for breakfast instead of dinner. It was a strangely shaped steak so parts of it was burning while some other parts were nearly still raw. It still worked. I do have to say that the eggs cooked in beef drippings is considerably better than in the pork, but still not bad.
I wasn't very productive at work today. A bit of “day-before-vacation-its” I was seriously craving salt during the first half of the day though. I really had to struggle with keeping myself from buying a bag of chips to chomp on. But then I had the thought of grabbing some Vienna Sausages as those are salty, small, and meat.
Feet and legs were really grumpy with me today. When I got home for lunch my legs felt like I just got done running a marathon. The chili from the fridge was still good. I did mix some cheese into it.
The second half of the day was just me being the Person In Charge of the store. I tried to find The Manager before she left to see if there was anything to watch out for, but I guess there wasn't anything to mention as she had ducked out right as she saw that I was back from lunch. So I just spent the evening just conditioning the isles. I do admit that I grabbed a bag of pork rinds to snack on just because I was more bored than hungry.
When work was over I did pace back and forth in front of the meat case for a bit as I wasn't sure what to have for dinner as all of the food I have is in the freezer. Than I remembered that I have some burger patties that I can grill from frozen so I was able to talk myself into leaving the store without spending more money.
Something that made be quite sad while grilling the burger patties was one of the hinges on the lid of the grill failed. I can still take the lid off and on, but when I lift it up it hangs from a bad angle off of the back of the grill. It might be time to for a new one. I have had this grill for quite some time. But I'm not going to be able to buy a new one for a while. That priority is pretty low.
