Annoyed that the numbers are above the start of the year so all of the projections are showing up. At least the weight is still under the average for the year so far. The apartment complexes around here all have metal roofs (odd spelling on the word roofs, you'd think that it'd be “rooves”) so as it's starting to get above freezing outside and the snow starts melting on top of the roof the snow slides off in a kind of avalanche. So this morning I was sitting here listening to videos and then hear a “Slooumph” as snow and ice slides off of the building. It keeps sounding like something fell down, but...

Keto Day 4

Weight was a little up from yesterday, but down compared to the day before

I was looking over the receipt from yesterday's shopping again just to see if that $17 off of a $170 order was on there and it just wasn't there. I thought I was going in a few minutes early to get that coupon situation corrected. Thankfully the lady working customer service this morning was the cashier who rang me up yesterday. I doubt that she remembered that exact coupon but she remembered that I used coupons and that none of the coupons that I used had any errors. I'm sure that it helps that she knew who I am and I have a good reputation so she went ahead and gave me credit for the coupon. What was fun was my weekly grocery budget is $150, and with the other coupons the total came to $169 and since the coupon credit she typed in was a store coupon it refunded the amount of sales tax as well and the credit was for $18 so that brought the weekly grocery a lot closer to the budget that I want it to be.

A frustration though was I normally work 11am to 8pm and I saw that I was working until 8 this evening so I had assumed that I was coming in at 11am. Until I tried to clock in. and “Error Early Clock In” I was actually scheduled to work Noon to 8pm as they're trying to save hours so they've been cutting an hour a single day of the week so I don't get any overtime. Oh well, early is better than late. It was kind of annoying to just sit around not doing anything. Of course I could have gone back home. But it would just be going home, waiting for about half an hour, and then driving back to work. Kind of a waste of gas and there really wouldn't be enough time to really do anything.

I was talking with another lady in customer service about how it is strange that it is only a week until Christmas. It just doesn't feel like Christmas time. I don't know what it is, Weather? The fact that I just haven't seen a lot of Christmas Advertisements? People just aren't in a Christmas mood? I don't know what it is, but I just can't seem to convince myself that it's Christmas time.

Another day where I was scheduled to be a carryout. And it was crazy windy out there today. It was quite warm, for December in Kansas anyway. I was trying to keep up on carts as we really don't want those blowing around. Unfortunately one did scrape a ladies car. Thankfully she didn't try to confront me, and it is unfortunate, but there are “Not responsible for damage caused by carts” signs around to lot. There was one jackass who tried to “help” with getting carts in. I had a train of carts on a strap waiting for the door to clear to get the carts in. People were standing in the door way, waving me in, but they were standing where I was needing to go so there wasn't much I could have done. And this jackass came up, “Hey, I can help you get these in!” and he grabbed the front of the cart train and starts dragging it in and then starts hollering at he people in the doorway. As we came in he started cheering about, “Yay teamwork!”

Wind is really howling tonight. But I do have to admit I'll take Red Flag Warnings over Winter Storm Warnings. Howling wind or a meter (3.2 feet) of ice and snow? I'll take the breeze.
