It's back under the start of the year again and only 4.3 lbs (2 kg) away from the “progress goal” of where I started the tracking back in 2014, only 1.3 lbs (0.6 kg) away from the lowest weight so far this year, and only about 8 lbs (3.6 kg) away from being under 40 BMI (morbidly obese ) I took a moment before work to record the other political short video that I was thinking of making, but again for some reason when I tried to transfer the files to the computer it only played the audio of the video, but not the video. When I play the video on my phone it plays the video, but doesn't want to play on my computer. And I had a hard time getting...

Sober Month 11 (Day 342)

Didn't feel like posting yesterday. I felt physically better by the evening. But people at work were pissing me off. Another instance of “What the hell is going on in our schools” a guy had a digital coupon for 2 litters of soda. (not sponsored) and was angry because he got 14 bottles of soda and they were supposed to be 99 cents with the digital coupon and he couldn't figure out why his total was twenty something dollars. Well, digital coupons are limit 5. And it took off the five bottles. He insisted that he knew it was limit five, that's why he got 14 of them. 14 is more than 5. He knew 14 is more than five, he works at a school. While I was trying to explain what the word “limit” meant to somebody who insisted that they were a teacher another person was yelling at me because they had left some cases of water at the self checkout I had already told her that we had already put them away and she could just go grab them. She kept telling me that she didn't have her receipt and was trying to show me her bank balance. That literately tells me nothing. The image on her phone didn't even show a purchase at our store it just showed the balance on her bank account, but the things that she had left behind were items that were recovered. It would be unlikely that she would just randomly guess the exact items that were left behind unless she was the one who left them. And another person was screaming out because the self checkout lane was asking for ID after they had scanned beer. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO SHOW ID THEY'RE CLEARLY OLD ENOUGH!! Well, the register can't see you, that's why there's a cashier running the self checkout. I wasn't even supposed to be running self checkout. That cashier just happened to step out to go smoke and the person who was supposed to be supervisor was at the customer service desk chatting with the person in the desk. I paged her multiple times to help check, she did eventually open a register and glowered at me because she was, “busy” I hate self checkout I hate it so much.

Wow, that went on for longer than I was wanting, I really don't want this to be the, “Mark whines about work blog,” On the brighter news, Roommate sent me his half of the rent yesterday and a bit to cover some bills. I was able to bring the savings accounts up to where, if I can keep them up, I won't have the “minimum balance” fee next month. This last month “Bills Savings” was high enough to avoid the fee for the first time since September of last year. Project Savings and General Savings will have that fee this month because the month has already started before I brought those balances up. And I was able to order a new scale and some furnace filters from Amazon. They should be here around Wednesday. True I could have gotten them from Walmart, but the last scale I bought from Walmart didn't seem to last very long. Those will be here Wednesday so I'll probably start weighing in again Thursday next week.

Feeling considerably better today than I was the last couple of days. Nose is running for the hills and I sound horrible, but I feel a lot better.

Thawing out the freezer again. This time I'm going to just leave it open while I go to work. I was hoping that it'd be thawed by lunchtime, but Roommate shut the door to the freezer and there was still ice in the back of the freezer. I had left it open again when I went back to work. And when I came home for the evening the door was closed again and there was still ice in the back of the freezer. At least the vents into the fridge are uncovered. I kept the food from the freezer in the fridge and the ice box effect kept it frozen over the day, but I don't think that it'd stay frozen overnight.

I'm going to Grandma's house tomorrow to set up her Christmas decorations and on Saturday I'm going to Mom's house for a Thanksgiving gathering. I'm off Monday and Tuesday next week so I'll finish defrosting it properly next week (hopefully) Might be a bit of a challenge as the last three times I defrosted the freezer I only partially defrosted it, and I'm thinking that a freeze/thaw cycle will cause that ice to get quite hard.

I'm a bit concerned with my microwave. It has a turn table in it. And lately it's been a bit shaky lately, when it was reheating my lunch today. And this evening when I had dinner Roommate didn't want his half of the ribs I cooked. Later in the evening I reheated the ribs to finish them off and it was stuttering again when reheating the ribs.
