Keto Day 1
Buying the coffee pot and vacuum seal bags, and a couple of other things actually made the grocery bill go over budget. But I'm not too worked up over it. It's not like the more expensive things that I bought today was stuff I have to buy every week. Or at least I hope I don't have to buy a new coffee pot too often.
Not sponsored but Mr Coffee>>>Toastmaster. The toastmaster coffee pot had spilled a lot whenever I poured from the carafe. The Mr Coffee carafe poured a lot more smoothly and controlled way and it brewed faster than the other pot as well.
I got the stuff to make Enchilada Soup for this weeks lunch plan. That REALLY triggered Roommate. He's still struggling with that upper respiratory issue that he'd been having for the last month or so. And cutting the onions really upset his respiratory system he was coughing and cursing like crazy. (Him playing Call of Duty again really isn't helping his mood) for the next couple of weeks I think I'm going to try to avoid onions in my lunch recipes. He's convinced that his illness is because of the house. But then again every frustration that he has is because of “this fu**king sh**hole” everything. It is concerning that he's hacking and hoarking a full month later, but he's going in for a medical visit literally every week. I would think if it was a bad thing he'd bring something up.
I am excited for tomorrow. I usually get paid on Thursday, but this Thursday is New Years day. So I'll get paid tomorrow, Wednesday. And that's the last Payday of the month and that's when I'm wanting to pay all of the next month's bills. And since I started both the “Bill Savings” and “Project Savings” last year this will be the first year that I will ever have the year started with all of the bills paid, car full of gas, fridge full of food, and all accounts with the minimum balances met. I'll get a $3 fee on Project Savings and General Savings as those started the month below the $100 minimum balance, but as long as everything stays good those will be the last monthly fee's that I'll ever see.
Later in the evening I was walking around I was worried that I had forgotten to turn the fridge back on after doing the inventory and meal plan as it was just so quiet in the apartment with the heater not running and in between Roommate screaming at video games. But yeah, it was on, it just didn't need to run as it was defrosted and quiet.
I noticed that my hands were kind of itchy this evening. I was looking around my desk for some lotion and laughed when I saw the two little jars Mom gave me last week. I've been putting a dab of the “healing” lotion on the sore that the watch gave me a couple of days ago but I haven't really been using the lotion very much over the last couple of days.
